Who woke up the Man City fans. It's been lovely to have eone weekend actually based on Football and not the finances.
Millwall v West Ham. A rivalry built over generations, with stories, legends and infamous moments that have become part of the history of both clubs.
Tomorrow is a big occasion. A derby like this doesn’t come around often anymore, so yes be loud, be passionate and back your club for every minute.
But don’t give the authorities an excuse to hammer either club with ridiculous sanctions, and don’t give the media the opportunity to turn the story into something that drags either club through the mud.
Let the rivalry live where it belongs on the pitch.
For me 90 minutes. Full voice. Full passion. West Ham United.
Let the football do the talking and remind everyone why this is one of the most unique rivalries in the game.
Here is the statement from Amanda Staveley in regards to West Ham.
“We are obviously disappointed not to have been successful in our bid to acquire the 25% shareholding in West Ham United.
“For transparency our original offer was for both David Sullivan’s 38.8% stake and Vanessa Gokd’s 25.1% stake in the club.
“There was always the potential that they other shareholders would take up their rights under the shareholders agreement which is what they have elected to do.
“From the outset we and our global investment partners approached this opportunity with enormous respect for West Ham, its history, identity and most importantly loyal and committed supporters.
“We saw real potential to make a positive difference, rejuvenate the club and help West Ham compete consistently at the highest level of English football.
“Mehrdad ( ) and I along with our partners retain the greatest respect for the West Ham community who supported us both in the stands and online in recent weeks.
“We will continue to follow this process closely. Our ambitions for the club remain and we would be open to the opportunity to work constructively with the existing shareholders in the future subject to use not taking up other opportunities that have been present to our consortium in the week of events over the past week.”

But nothings changed has it.

Morato would make sense for West Ham in the Championship.
25, 6'3", left-footed, with Premier League & Champions League experience. Under Nuno at Forest in 24/25: 26 PL appearances, 6 starts. Not a regular starter, but Nuno clearly trusted him as a defensive closer.
His role grew to 14 PL starts in 25/26.
Not a glamorous signing but a player Nuno knows, trusts and knows how to use. If the price is right, this could be a very smart Championship signing.

Austbø could be a really interesting signing for West Ham.
A 21-year-old direct winger who can play either side, carry the ball, beat players 1v1 and provide genuine pace and width. His dribbling and progressive carries are exactly the sort of threat we’ve been missing.
But there’s another possibility I really like…
If Austbø takes up the wide role, it could allow Bowen to move into a more central position or even a No.10 role.
Bowen already has the movement, intelligence, finishing and work rate to influence games centrally. Rather than constantly relying on him to start wide right, we could get him closer to the striker and into areas where he can hurt teams.
Austbø provides the width.
Bowen provides the goals and movement centrally.
That gives Nuno another tactical option and potentially gets the best out of both players.
For me, Austbø isn't just about adding another winger. He could actually give us the flexibility to change how we use our best attacking player.

I’m not calling for Nuno to be sacked. He deserves time to rebuild and rebalance the squad.
We’ve changed league, brought in new players and need to give a manager a proper opportunity to build something. Knee-jerk decisions after a handful of games achieve nothing.
But if we eventually reach the point where a change is needed, there is one appointment that makes far more sense to me than another short-term gamble:
Kieran McKenna.
And it’s not about the name. It’s about the fit.
This squad has pace, technical ability and players capable of playing proactive, possession-based football. Bowen, Castellanos, Pablo, Engels and Walker-Peters should be thriving in a system built around movement, intensity, pressing and attacking football.
Then look at the emergence of Orford and Golembeckis.
We've got young players coming through who need a manager willing to trust them, develop them and integrate them into a clear footballing philosophy.
That’s where McKenna makes so much sense.
He has already shown he can build a side capable of getting promoted from the Championship, while developing young players and playing an aggressive, modern style of football.
So for now:
Give Nuno time. Back him. Give him the tools to succeed.
But if it becomes clear that his football isn't getting the best out of this squad, we shouldn't panic or appoint another manager who needs another rebuild.
We need someone whose football fits what we already have.
For me, that's McKenna.
The objective isn't to become comfortable in the Championship.
It's to get the club back where it belongs and build something sustainable when we get there.

Just going to put this out there. All the so called West Ham ITKs would lost without copying @ExWHUEmployee news and transfer news.
It's hilarious that some people try and hate on him and belittle the @WestHamWayCom membership cost. Bit what's more embarrassing is claiming your and ITK when your a copy and paste merchant.
This has become a point where there are so many experts on here which would do 10 times worse than those in the pitch or on those bench.
The panic around a few results is unreal. Yes we want to win as many games as possible but from what I have seen every team is sitting back and playing on the break against us. There is still so many games to go and as reported there are still plans to bring players in this window. What stroke of genius it would be to change a manager whilst trying to sign the players he wants. Keep your heads #westham #whufc #whu #irons #coyi
I have a very excited 7 year old after we won hospitality tickets thanks to @WestHamWayCom and @goofficial_
Looking forward tomorrow and hopefully three points to top it off

West Ham ownership the numbers
The Times reports Amanda Staveley’s consortium has agreed to buy the Gold family’s 25.1% stake for £150m, subject to the shareholders’ pre-emption process.
Sullivan currently owns 38.8% and reportedly has a pre-emption right over 13%, which would take him to around 51.8% and majority control.
For context, if the £150m Gold transaction price is applied proportionally:
• 25.1% = £150m
• 13% = ~£77.7m
• Remaining 12.1% = ~£72.3m
• Implied 100% valuation = ~£598m
Křetínský currently owns 27% and is also considering exercising his pre-emption rights.
The process therefore potentially leaves three outcomes:
Sullivan exercises his 13% right and gets 51.8% and majority control.
Křetínský exercises his rights and he could potentially acquire the Gold stake, depending on the pre-emption process.
Neither fully exercises and Staveley’s consortium remains positioned to complete the £150m purchase of 25.1%, subject to the process.
The £150m is the figure reported by The Times for the 25.1% Gold transaction. The £77.7m estimate for 13% is a proportional calculation, not a figure specifically stated by The Times.

Today is an important day for West Ham and it's SCR compliance and ability to do more in the transfer window.
Having 2 higher earners like Fullkrug and AWB wages either off the books or reduce will unlock movement for us trying to bring in players before the 1st September.
A few more to go unlocks late opportunities in the window.
