Our RNLI Lifeboat Press Officers really are amazing people. As well as doing an outstanding job as DLPO at Dungeness Lifeboat Station, Sarah Beck will also be spending the summer promoting the incredible lifesaving work being done by RNLI lifeguards across the South East. @RNLI
On International Women's Day I'd like to give a shout out for Rima Akter, one of hundreds of incredible Bangladeshi women working to combat a drowning epidemic which costs 40 children's lives in her country every day. Find out more at: rnli.org/news-and-media/2020…
Our @RNLI Lifeboat Press Officers are just amazing. Kt and Martin Bruce have gone way beyond the call of duty to run an inspired project at @RNLIRyeHarbour to create a memorial to mark 90 years since the town’s lifeboat was lost with the loss of 17 lives.
Honoured to play with #rayleighbrass and lay the wreath for today’s Remembrance Service in Burnham in Crouch and great to see the crew of @BurnhamRNLI in attendance. @RNLI #WeWillRememberThem #PoppyAppeal

Afternoon, Londoners! 😎🍦☀️🔥 This weekend is set to be hotter than the inside of a Findus crispy pancake so if you want to cool off, please avoid the tidal Thames and check out @lidolondon to find out where to cool off 🌊💦😅 #respectthewater
The RNLI is warning people not to swim in the Thames as the weather warms up.

Our @RNLI crews are tireless in their efforts to tackle drowning. Today volunteers from all four stations on the Thames told their stories to HRH the Duke of Cambridge at the launch of a new drowning prevention strategy for the river #SaferThames #respectthewater #RNLI
Well we made it! 3063 miles from St Augustine, Florida to San Diego, California. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped fundraise for the @RNLI Crèches for Bangladesh. There is still time to help at:

Just met the incredible @BethFootForward at the @RNLI in Poole as she headed home for a Christmas break from her challenge to walk around the coast of Britain to raise money for the #RNLI and lowland rescue. Have a good rest Beth - you are doing a superb job #SavingLivesAtSea
Replying to @BethFootForward
...my rest days have been physical rest days but I’ve not switched off properly for even 1 day since I started 10 weeks ago. So I’m heading to family in Croydon and signing off for a while. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas, however you spend it. Back soon 🙂
It’s officially Christmas! The tinsel is on the trombone! Tonight I will be with Rayleigh Brass entertaining the fine folk of the Benfleet Yacht Club. Ho ho ho!

Fascinating meeting artist and @AldeburghRNLI volunteer of 20 years David Gillingwater, who has painted stunning oil portraits of the lifeboat crew. The ‘Oilskins’ exhibition at The Garage Gallery, Aldeburgh, is only on until Weds and should not be missed! #RNLI #aldeburgh
It may be cold and windy tonight but the @BembridgeRNLI are out on exercise ready to save lives at sea. Never tire of seeing a slipway launch.

Today was a landmark for photographer Jack Lowe of @ProjectLifeboat. He reached @DoverRNLI, which marks the halfway point of his epic mission to capture all 238 RNLI crews. He's achieved so much already — we can't wait to see what happens next. Congratulations, Jack!
Great to meet up with the amazing crew at Guernsey @RNLI lifeboat station last night. Doing an incredible job keeping people safe in the seas around the Channel Islands.
Cycling the Viking Coastal Trail with Harry - and of course had to pop into @Rnli Margate Lifeboat Station. Harry v impressed with the size of the Mersey class!

July has been an extremely busy month for our lifeboats around the UK and Ireland. One of the busiest areas is on the River Thames in London
This is the busiest time of year for the RNLI's teams on the Thames. Last night they helped a man injured after jumping into the water at Putney, one of eight calls they go to every day. @luketomhanrahan went out with them:
