Warren Central High School’s Youth-Canine Program is this week. The 1st day, we teach the kids about reading dog body language, dog stress signals, etc. During this class, we use a therapy team as a demo dog to show some of the skills they will teach. #everypersoneverydog

#SGSedu | Integrating #SEL within all forms of education is critical for all learners, from early childhood to adulthood, particularly for those who have been impacted by crisis, conflict and violence
There can be incredible power found in #calmness and #patience. Teaching kids to use frustrating and anger-inducing situations as a vehicle for growth has lasting benefit. Key is identifying healthy levels of #tolerablestress to build #resilience w/o overloading the system. #SEL
