Children from villages are asking me to either give them books or take a picture with them. I said that I don’t have the books on me right now but will bring it in future. Then I had to take photo with them and showed it to them. They are very innocent and kind. #kandahar #children

Today we had a fruitful meeting with the Turkish Ambassador Mr @cerginay @turkembkabul We spoke about 14 yrs of @PenPath1 work & it’s 3000 volunteers. We urge the Turkish govt to help Afg mainly on provision of scholarships for Afg youth. Afg needs support in the education sector – at Afghanistan

In one year, he traveled to 28 provinces for the girls' education campaign. He met with 40,000 people and said that they will continue the campaign until all Afghan girls go back to school. Because education is a right for all, not a request from foreigners…

Today I met with @matiullahwesa @PenPath1 director. With 3000 volunteers they provided home education to 5000 girls. He says "I will not leave Afghanistan. At such a time, it is our responsibility to provide education and work opportunities for Afghan girls and women". 👇🏽
