⚔️ RS2/3 player from 2003 to 2016. Extended hiatus for Eastern MMOs until 2024.

I am a big fan of gaming and anime. All of my characters are themed around some of my favourite shows, with Hitsugi and Kohri being the protagonist and deuteragonist duo in Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Earth, whilst Penny is a significant character in RWBY.
I have other accounts that are side projects that will eventually come to light. Watch this space. 👀
In the real world, I am in my 30s and I am a full time worker in finance and an avid convention goer. I enjoy travelling around both the UK and the world to visit and attend conventions.

I feel like Pete should've been like a Deep Delve system of sorts. Each win, you unlock a harder fight. Complete level 20 of the fight (which is broadly like current difficulty) and you get the cape.
Would've been nice to see self progression as you apply learning. #OSRS

I'm going to be honest, after RuneFest, I am going to have a real long think on whether I take an extended break from the game, or if I just go community dark.
I am so burnt out with other players absolutely nuking the fun of this game for me. 😞

I realize the quantity of comments on this post will make it difficult to respond to them all. I also made this post whilst incredbly frustrated. Working almost 60 hours a week every week up until the new year isn't helping!
The biggest struggle I have with Sol is that I lose my positioning balance. I find myself with my back against the wall too much, or near too many pools/lasers too often. I also massively struggle with recognising the part break attack before it's too late.
I am perfectly fine with Shield 1/2, Spear 1/2 and the triple parry (Shoutout Mad Angel for having an near identical mechanic!)
I've decided to park this until the weekend. I think being mentally drained/exhausted after a working day is having a substantial impact on my decision making in the fight (as it does when I fight Vard for example).
I'll get this, if it kills me.
