Photos I took on a trip to Te Puia with my tourism class today (these are from the beginning of the tour)
Signs outside the Kiwi Conservation Centre (you're not allowed to use phones inside but we saw two kiwi)
The geothermal valley (shared with the Whakarewarewa village), the hangi pit where they cook food for guests + a geyser
And after this she confidently told the teacher I wasn't in class yesterday. I was. And I can't imagine it was hard to miss since I was the only one sitting down while everyone else baked because I had to finish an assessment. This girl does not like me 😂
I forgot to mention that some students also use other students as their outlets. I just had a "friend" get mad at me in cooking class for saying her food looked sublime. Apparently I was being sarcastic and she told me to fuck off 🫠
The friend in question has pretty severe anger issues and I've managed to avoid being the target of her outbursts for the last 2 years. I didn't think me complimenting what she made would finally trigger it :/
I'm finishing Year 13 by the end of this week and 2 years after I took Japanese as a class I can definitively say I don't speak any Japanese
My teacher was nice but she expected me to have photographic memory and when I didn't instantly memorise things she'd ask me if I was dyslexic (and I think I actually might be) +
