Camp Read-a-Lot has taken over the @Perez_Elem library! Songs & stories around the campfire + 2 free books to build students' home libraries thanks to our PTA & @bookspringatx. We're ready to read s'more over spring break! @AustinISD @AISDHumanities @AustinISDLibs
We kicked off our @Perez_Elem Student Publishing Project with a hybrid visit from @Bartography! Students learned from Chris Barton (& Ernie🐶) all about HOW TO MAKE A BOOK (about My Dog) and are ready to get started on their own! @AustinEdFund @LernerBooks @WritersLeague
Thank you for supporting our school & students at the Book Fair and a special thanks to the volunteers who helped make it happen. With your support, we raised a total of $3,486 to buy books for @Perez_Elem students!
