In the 8 years since the Truth and Reconciliation final report was released, we've taken steps towards reconciliation.
Today, let’s acknowledge our achievements and shortfalls, and commit to working towards a better future.

ALT Text on a dark image reads, "’Children who lie in unmarked graves across this country were never forgotten by their families, nor their communities. In 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission brought it to national attention and issued a final report with ninety-four Calls to Action. Ninety-four acts of reconciliation that have shaped, and will continue to shape, our intentions and actions. Ninety-four ways to ensure that something like this never happens again.’ – Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada." A slightly transparent image of several pairs of children’s moccasins lined up on the edge of a stage can be seen in the background.

Adoptive and intended parents are owed more than broken promises from the Liberal Government. C-318 is commonsense legislation that will give them the time they need and deserve with their child. #timetoattach
