Worst terrorist attacks in the world keep happening in Ukraine. After 9-11 the U.S. invaded Afghanistan and went on a 20 year terrorist hunt. Maybe the U.S. and its allies could at least allow Ukraine to strike back when Russia hits Ukraine?
The Russian strike on Kharkiv directly on people, on ordinary house. All services are currently engaged in the rescue operation. I thank everyone who is helping to save lives at this moment. This strike was carried out using a Russian guided aerial bomb—a strike that could have been prevented if our Defense Forces had the capability to destroy Russian military aircraft at their bases. We need strong decisions from our partners to stop this terror. This is an absolutely legitimate need. There is no rational reason to limit Ukraine’s defense. We need long-range capabilities and the full implementation of air defense agreements for Ukraine. These are life-saving measures.

Pokrovsk. The last days of an empty park. Soon the "Russian world" will touch the city and everything on the photo will cease to exist.

There's only one EU country that's cracking down on the totally absurd flood of goods to Kyrgyzstan: Poland (top row, middle chart). Everywhere else in the EU exports to Kyrgyzstan are at all-time highs. Over two years of this nonsense and EU policy makers just do nothing...

Great thread! Love the phrase „power to the people“ in this context! ❤️ And I‘d love to have a dynamic transmission price and would buy batteries for sure! 🔋🪫

Many grid operators object to this. I think it's partly because they fear change, but also because it makes them seem less important. In the new system, everybody with a battery or other flex is a player. The system is emerging from the bottom up so to say. Power to the people?

This is one of the hardest but also one of the most important warnings from the history of Auschwitz coming for us today. Perpetrators were in fact people who accepted and followed an ideology that made them believe that they were better than others, an ideology that rationalized and promoted hatred & evil. This became part of their everyday lives and their environment. They were not monsters. They were people: fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, sons and daughters. They had their family joys and problems, their favorite desserts or songs, hobbies or fears. They were people like us. But they also perpetrated horrible things, monstrous things on behalf of the ideology they believed in. The perpetrators thought of themselves as moral people. And this is the scary part of this history. This is our human warning.

People involved were monsters

In this thread, I will explain why we are much closer to war with 🇷🇺 than most people realize and why our time window for rearmament is shorter than many believe. In my opinion, we have at best 2-3 years to re-establish deterrence vis-à-vis 🇷🇺. Here's why 👇 1/20

We frequently lament the lack of quality information in the media. Yet, as consumers, we often seek not what's most accurate, but what aligns with our views. This shifts the information marketplace into a "marketplace of rationalisations". A🧵

As a Ukrainian person looking at everything that’s been happening in the world lately, here’s what I really, REALLY need people living in liberal democracies to understand as soon as possible. This isn’t a pleasant conversation. A thread. 1/

Was genau ist passiert? Ein Thread. (Wird lang, aber wichtig.)
