Tan Ikram is the Deputy Chief Magistrate. He is linked to an organisation that dismissed the rape gangs as “so-called grooming gangs”. I do not make a habit of criticising judges, but his conduct outside the courtroom raises serious questions. So I asked the Justice Secretary for an investigation. His response was to tell me to stop my "dangerous public criticism". I will not be silenced.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has called on the European Commission to investigate the implications of Spain's mass migrant regularization program, accusing Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of pursuing an immigration policy that contradicts the direction taken by most European countries. Spain approved a decree in April 2026 initially expected to grant legal status to approximately 500,000 undocumented migrants, providing eligible applicants with one-year residence and work permits. Nearly 1.18 million applications were subsequently submitted. Denmark fears the policy could encourage further irregular migration into Europe, while Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has also criticized Madrid's approach.

ICYMI, the latest ONS Pink Book confirms the devastating impact of Brexit on the UK's international trade... 🤯 In 2015, the UK ran a trade deficit in goods and services worth 1.2% of GDP. By 2025, this had surged to ... 1.3% of GDP. (Are you sure about this one? Ed.) ons.gov.uk/economy/nationala…

Have you visited Nigeria yet, where black Muslims are decapitating black Christians? And I won’t be acknowledging anything I personally didn’t participate in, nor any of my ancestors.

'and asking forgiveness from our African friends.' The African black slave traders who captured, caged & in some cases castrated Black Africans sold into slavery? You are right Britain did play its part by stopping it.

The justification for the current Polish government breaking the law seems to be that the last Polish government broke the law, so the new guys have to do the law breaking again to restore the rule of law. Meanwhile, the US Democrats are openly talking about court packing as an objective going into the midterms, and here in the UK we have a more or less openly two tier justice system. Is democracy screwed everywhere? Is it just a game of "grab power and then try and lock it in forever"?

While Britain’s own army is being gutted and the country is left exposed, Labour is pouring record foreign aid into Gaza so Hamas can rebuild its tunnels, rocket factories and terror infrastructure. British taxpayers are literally funding the reconstruction of the group that massacred over 1,000 Jews on October 7. Labour is doing this for one reason: to harvest Muslim votes from the Green Party. National security is being traded for domestic political gain.
The Chancellor John Healey resigned and helped to bring down Starmer’s government over defence spending. What’s changed? Nothing, except now he has a better job. Shameless.

In Gaza, Jews get decapitated and their bodies are torn into trophies for Palestinians. In Israel, Arabs get to vote. I’m tired of listening to progressives with no education beyond Twitter claiming Palestinians are the oppressed ones. – at Nikaia, Greece

Well if Reform can cherry pick, then I’ll remind that we’ve won or held several seats in the last week. None of it on its own means anything much except conservatives are winning despite Farage’s quest.

The dodgy donations. The racism and bigotry. The misogyny and sexism. The corruption, the grifting, the bullying, the cover-ups, the outright hate and division Reform sows in society. Thank god people are finally waking up to it.
“What’s gone wrong?” @mattchorley asks Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick why his party has slipped from first to third in some opinion polls, having previously held a double digital lead in some cases. #Newsnight

Putting the whole data centre water consumption nonsense aside. Let's say this was a straight fight (it's not). Would you rather have, a) Netflix, online banking, online shopping, social media etc b) The ability to use hose pipes all the time.
Chancellor John Healey has announced a 'British data centre covenant’ in the Budget - handing energy and water guzzling AI data centres priority grid access while the rest of us get warnings of energy blackouts and hosepipe bans. Priorities sorted.

If you're looking at Poland and wondering what the hell is going on, and what Donald Tusk is on about. EU membership requires the EU courts to be supreme, the ultimate authority. The Polish courts disagree. So Tusk is trying to remove them. This is the Brexit debate. In Poland.

The Nakba tragically did happen--in 1948 Palestinians started a war that killed 1% of Israel's population, most of whom were Holocaust survivors. Palestinians ethnically cleansed every single Jew from East Jerusalem and the West Bank (the Etzion bloc) and massacred the doctors and nurses of the Hadassah hospital and Hebrew University. It could have all been avoided had they not started a war and accepted the UN's peaceful two state solution.

🚨 Britain's national debt has ballooned under this Labour government. We now hold a debt of over £3 Trillion. It costs £267 Million a day just to service the interest. 🌳 Only the Conservatives have a fully costed plan to bring down spending and take back control of our economy.
