I think the last 20 years have been a fantastic journey for Peterborough. 12/20 seasons either winning promotion, winning a trophy, getting top six in League One (excluding 19/20) or playing in the Championship, along with playing attacking football, developing young players with comparative financial sustainability - fanbase would’ve been thrilled with that in 2006 so never forget the positives. At the same time, I think how the last three years has been handled is extremely disappointing. The transitional period from the previous generation of key players to the next could’ve been managed so much better. Too many sales in quick succession, not enough experience to navigate the gap, and decision-making on a whim - sometimes you don’t need to make a big swing when the situation requires a simple drop shot to avoid the ball going off the court. Whole club has to look at itself in the mirror right now and ask some difficult questions.

Since the General Election, interest rates have been cut five times and are now at their lowest level for two years - bringing down the cost of mortgages and loans across the UK. By bringing stability back to the country's finances we're putting more money in people's pockets.

If you are a sane, rational person who can perform simple maths and cares about the economy of their country and the future of the people within it, then you should be livid with the government this morning. There is no part of the proposed EU reset terms, that you should be remotely happy about. The entire deal is giving the EU what it wants, and dressing it up as a benefit for the UK when it is anything but. - Promising to not deport EU criminals - Paying billions a year to build infrastructure in Eastern Europe - Subsidizing EU students to study in the UK, costing hundreds of millions a year - Putting UK laws in the control of the EU again, with no say at all from Parliament - Adding hundreds of millions of costs onto imports from non-EU countries - Making imported EV cars 30% more expensive, to help EU car manufacturers - Giving 80-100,000 extra youth visas a year, increasing competition and driving down wages for our unemployed youth - Stopping checks on imported agrifoods, increasing risk of diseases currently rampant in EU livestock entering the UK All of this with the reason of making exporting food to the EU easier, which we do virtually none of and never did, as we are an island that consumes more than it produces. It doesn't matter if you ultimately want to rejoin the EU or not. This isn't about that. This is about an atrocious deal and our atrocious government. Fight this with everything you've got.

I was accused of 'whipping up division' across Britain by a Labour Minister in Parliament today. 'Moral bankruptcy', he called it, as their MPs all cheered like performing seals desperate for yet another fish. The calibre of politicians running our country, compared with the quality, intelligence and decency of the British people they are supposed to represent, is frankly obscene. You cannot believe it. The lunatics aren't just running the asylum, they've broken out and somehow stormed parliament in sufficient numbers to 'run' the country. Our people deserve so much better than this shower of arrogant, self-congratulatory, unimpressive mediocrities who have the sheer cheek to lecture the rest of us about morality. The tragedy of modern Britain is that the people being governed are infinitely more capable than those governing them.

💷 You get a 4% pay rise. Yet you're STILL worse off. Your employer gives you more money. The Treasury takes an increasing share. It's a hidden tax trap that millions of working people may not even realise is happening. I joined @Iromg to expose how frozen tax thresholds are squeezing workers, alongside Britain's £3 TRILLION debt and the latest Budget.
