Leftists have moved to enshrine unlimited abortion into the Virginia Constitution, denying the God-given right to life and parental rights. The fight for those rights now goes to the courts.

DON’T SIT THIS ONE OUT. TODAY VIRGINIA DECIDES ITS FUTURE. Two constitutional amendments are on the ballot. Amendment 1 would erase parental consent and weaken protections for women and girls. Amendment 2 would write gender ideology into our Constitution and put girls’ sports, private spaces, and religious liberty at risk. Please read the amendments fully before making a decision. Polling places are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’re in line by 7:00 p.m., you will be able to vote. Go vote today. Find your polling place. Vote NO on Amendments 1 and 2. Find your polling place: vote.elections.virginia.gov/… Virginia’s future is in our hands. Don’t leave it to chance.

Vote to advance as much righteousness as possible, trust in the supremacy of Christ above all earthly powers, and remember that “history in its entirety and in its parts corresponds to the counsel of God and exhibits the glory of that counsel.” — Herman Bavinck

Spotty attendance at the Sunday gatherings of your church is an increasingly common practice. It's what people do. But it's not wise, helpful, or biblical. Kevin DeYoung, as usual, addresses the issue with grace, wisdom, and clarity. clearlyreformed.org/the-scan…

Lawsuit filed: FFLC challenges VA’s marriage amendment over failure to properly post the language at local courthouses before the election. On behalf of Pastor Ben Purves. Tazewell Judge denies state’s motion to block post-election hearing. Nov. 13 arguments set on FFLC’s challenge to the VA Abortion Amendment Flawed process undermines trust in elections—and this amendment would be a policy disaster. We’re ready for court right after Election Day. foundingfreedomslaw.org/news… foundingfreedomslaw.org/news…
🚨BREAKING: VIRGINIA COURT WILL HEAR STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT CASE: Tazewell Judge Clears Hearing on Abortion Amendment Nov. 13; FFLC Challenges Marriage Repeal Amendment Both lawsuits seek the courts to invalidate the proposed amendments if they pass on Nov. 3, on the basis that they did not satisfy constitutional requirements. The Tazewell Circuit Court has denied the Commonwealth’s motions seeking to prevent a post-election hearing in a lawsuit brought by Founding Freedom Law Center (FFLC) challenging Virginia’s proposed abortion amendment. If voters approve the amendment November 3, the court is scheduled to hear legal arguments November 13 before Judge Hurley. Representing the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Virginia Medical Freedom Alliance, and Meagan Kade, FFLC seeks a preliminary injunction to prevent certification of the election results. The lawsuit alleges constitutional procedural defects and misleading ballot language. Read more about the abortion amendment challenge: foundingfreedomslaw.org/news… “We are excited for the opportunity to get into court right after the election, if necessary. Not only would this proposed abortion amendment be a disaster for policy reasons, but it would undermine trust in our democratic processes because of the flawed and deceptive means by which it will have passed. We cannot allow that to happen.” — Josh Hetzler, Executive Director of FFLC PRINCE WILLIAM, Va. — The Founding Freedoms Law Center (FFLC) also filed a lawsuit last week on behalf of Pastor Ben Purves challenging Virginia’s proposed marriage amendment on procedural grounds. The marriage amendment complaint alleges the same procedural defect raised in the abortion amendment case: failure by the House Clerk to send, and local clerks to post, copies of proposed amendment language at local courthouses before the intervening 2025 election. Pastor Purves organized an open letter from Virginia pastors opposing both amendments; more than 400 pastors have signed. “When we fought to pass the original Marriage Amendment two decades ago, we made sure the Constitution was amended the right way, according to law. If it’s now going to be changed, it must again be amended the right way.” — Victoria Cobb, President, Founding Freedoms Law Center About Founding Freedoms Law Center Founding Freedoms Law Center is a Richmond-based nonprofit legal organization and the legal arm of The Family Foundation. FFLC defends religious liberty, parental rights, free speech, and the sanctity of life in Virginia’s courts and before its public institutions. Learn more at foundingfreedomslaw.org.

New Blog Post! For six decades, one of the most consequential addresses in the history of British evangelicalism has been known almost entirely through the printed page. Recently, the MLJ Trust recovered the audio recording of "Evangelical Unity: An Appeal," the address Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones gave to the Second National Assembly of Evangelicals in 1966. "The questions Dr. Lloyd-Jones raised have not gone away," said Greg Jones, president of the MLJ Trust. "Indeed, there is a strong case to be made that his message may be even more relevant today than it was when he first delivered it." In this article originally published by Evangelical Times, learn more about this historic address and where and when you can listen to it for the first time in 60 years: mljtrust.org/blog/evangelica…

A self-appointed church planter is little more than a disgruntled church member. By contrast, the best church planters are always sent out from healthy churches that are looking to plant other healthy churches.

Have you ever wondered why pastors who have been disqualified from ministry so rarely concede to the reality of their disqualification and just move on? Have you ever wondered why they so often disappear for a year or so and then turn up at another church or in a different denomination? challies.com/articles/why-fa…

I am so thankful to the 2026 Southern Baptist Convention and for the overwhelming vote in favor of the Truth and Unity Amendment. Brothers and sisters, we must move on to do it again in Indianapolis in 2027. We press on!

The obvious evil, blindness, and abject stupidity of the progressive ideologue who desired to murder political opponents last night must be contrasted with the photos of men protecting women. Doing so offers a reminder of how fake, imposed, and artificial the contrivances of progressivism and all other nature-defying ideologies are. What a broken, godless worldview with no brakes or limits set against the counter reality that creation order is a visual revelation of God’s design. Even in an emergency, how men and women relate to one another reflects a divine blueprint. Trust what your conscience tells you about chivalrous action versus the moronic actions of a dimwit wannabe-assassin.

The Virginia redistricting gambit is this: The Democrats' talk of "democratic norms" and "protecting democracy" is a smokescreen for the raw exercise and accumulation of political power. It always has been. The Democrats do all the same things they accuse the GOP of, but with cloak-and- dagger methods. It's all done with an air of Brooks Brothers respectability and the pretense of civic righteousness, and that's the point. In the name of protecting democracy, they've robbed citizens of legitimate representation. It's sad to see Virginia regress into the antics of my native state of Illinois. Decline will follow. But that's their choice, and they can now languish under the consequences of their chosen policies: increased taxes and social progressivism.

Progressive Christianity is not Christianity. Any movement or thirty-something "seminarian" that denies the core doctrines of the Christian faith has, by definition, departed from Christianity itself. And anyone—even certain New York Times columnists—who aids and abets such heresies by insisting that such a malformed Christianity still counts as Christianity is not offering serious commentary on the Christian faith.

The language of praying “in Jesus’s name” (ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου) is concentrated in the Farewell Discourse and appears seven times: John 14:13–14; 15:16; 16:23–24, 26. Notably, this formulation does not occur elsewhere in the Gospel. This concentration is theologically significant. This not a formula to get what we want. In John, it signals the new era of Jesus’s mediatorial work in the heavens. Before the cross and resurrection, the disciples relate to the Father through Jesus’s physical presence. After Jesus’s cross, resurrection, and ascenision they will relate to the Father through Jesus’s name as he interceeds in the heavens. As Swete says, “the name of Christ is both the passport by which the disciples may claim access into the audience chamber of God, and the medium though which the Divine answer comes.”

National Borders are a part of human nature. And thus, those who are opposing border patrols and immigration enforcement are creating their own borders. Because they have to. But these new borders are also a seditious act of aggression. And should be treated as such.
Minneapolis, MN📍: Local protestors have created an autonomous zone, no local or federal law enforcement are allowed inside, with makeshift bonfires lit up across the zone.
