Day 4 #PSOP was a fun one!
Who says A-5 is out of style? 190 entries!
Team Pro @basebaldy found himself a podium with a 3rd place finish but it was "Cal" @Cal42688 who picked up another PSOP win in Event 17 6-max PKO
Up today: 3 more events including the Omaha/8 Championship

We might have guessed a little low on the turnout 😂🤦♂️
Day 1 of PSOP is in the books - congrats to our first ever PSOP champs!🏆
Shout out to Team Pro @tsarrast who nearly took down the first Championship event (event #2 500 PLO)
5 fun events lined up for today. Who's ready?
Why are humans so fascinated with watching other humans die?
Feels like every day I open this app, I can't scroll without running into a video of someone dying
Those videos get tons of engagement. The comments are filled with people with zero empathy
Why?
I find it fascinating when I run into the people who are firmly in the "America is the best!" camp
Not because I'm anti-american but because they are almost always:
- Americans who have never been anywhere else
- people outside America who have never actually been to the USA
I feel so fortunate to live in this day and age where I have this app to teach me about tough topics like sex and consent
On the other hand, now I have to figure out how to tell my wife she's a serial rapist since she's never once obtained my consent
I find it really interesting that X is filled with made up AI stories that get a ton of engagement
Do people really love reading obvious AI stuff that much? What do they get from it?
What should we be learning from this behavior?
Update:
Now nearly 5 days and @krakenfx @krakenpro @krakensupport still hasn't made contact and all support channels are completely helpless/useless. They all give me the same "I have no idea what's going on but I promise someone will be in touch". No timeline given. No reason given. Just nothing.
Meanwhile all funds are "on hold"
I used to think these were some of the good guys in crypto but this experience is a complete joke. How does nobody know anything and how do you hold funds without giving any reason or making any kind of contact whatsoever?
Please retweet for awareness
Long time @krakenfx customer here
The other day they just put all crypto deposits on hold in a corporate @krakenpro account. No notice. No explanation. No banner. Nothing
Try contacting support and they just say a "specialist" team is reviewing. All further contact attempts just get swatted away
I mean wtf? Funds are frozen without any explanation and support just disappears

Crazy
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

Can we talk about how Jack Dawson super duper slow rolled those 2 Swedish guys with their ticket to a better life on the line?

We started Phenom Poker because we wanted to be the Rebellion in an industry that has continually moved against player interests
Since then, our industry's flagship series has been purchased and is now not only anti-player but anti-competition and the "industry leader" is acting even more like "The Empire" than before.
Healthy competition and a variety of options is GOOD for poker. It keeps rake reasonable and forces operators to earn your trust and loyalty
Allowing the industry to be monopolized is bad for players. It will result in higher rake, worse rewards, and less incentives for the operator to act in your best interests.
Luckily, our little Rebellion grows a little bigger every day. We won't stop fighting for poker. All are welcome
Patch or no patch I’m a proud ambassador for @PhenomPokerApp.
If you see me on the felt this summer feel free to ask me about our player first approach to online poker. I’m confident that once you give us a shot you will feel the difference and join in on the revolution 🖤💪🚀
Wishing @carlosalcaraz a speedy recovery
Tennis needs him. I personally have no real interest in watching @atptour without him in the mix
It wasn't this way during the Big 3 era. If one of them was hurt I was still interested in watching a major final
