Sometimes I wish I had never started this account. It's given me real insights into the inner workings of American politics and the American media, and it's all nasty. It's all tawdry. It's all underhanded and deceitful. None of it is good or wholesome. It's Game of Thrones without the dragons and the beheadings. Ignorance is bliss and sometimes I wish I was ignorant. I'm not deleting my account or anything, I'm just venting. The good people (particularly devout Christians) have their principles used and abused against them by those who lack principles. Ugh. I'll be back tomorrow.

Exactly. I didn’t share it because I agree with it, but because this is America and we have a duty to share our ideas.
The meaning and purpose of my article below is apparently lost on too many conservatives. Disagree with my choice? Great! Write an article of your own explaining YOUR choice for 2028 and get it out there. Justify your opinion. Debate. Engage. Be productive. The 2028 election starts TODAY people. I'm trying to lead by example and most are not getting it. Most would rather lay on the floor moaning "Dooommm... it's all over, no hope, no hope" and start planning how to move permanently to Belize. This is OUR COUNTRY and if we want to keep it we need to start fighting like wild animals for 2028 RIGHT NOW. That means ALL OF US. The time is past waiting for someone to tell you what to do and what to think. We need to make our own future. The time for moping is past. Get off the floor. Chart a course for success now. And don't tell me you are too little or too unimportant. Every voice has power and it's up to YOU to seize that power for yourself. Don't be a political sheep. Be a political wolf. Don't like the idea of Hegseth for Prez? Read my article and tell me which of my points are wrong. Better yet, write an article yourself explaining who YOU support and why. The way we stop getting crap candidates like Vivek or Lindsey Graham's sister is to start doing the dirty work of building a successful coalition RIGHT FREAKING NOW. Grrrrrrrrr.....😡😡😡😡

Satan is an eternally-defeated foe, but he never quits. Have you ever seen Democrats quit? EVER? So why are you quitting? Turning this around depends on us taking ACTION, all of us. Organize. Educate. Donate. Get involved. If you lack the physical capacity to knock on doors, the Internet is your answer. Zoom is your answer. X Spaces is your answer. Be an influencer in your home, your neighborhood, your town, your county, your state, your nation. Don't rely on others to do it. Do it yourself. Never quit. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.

I live in one of the bluest states in America. I have kids and know plenty of young conservative men here. Young women are a solid blue wall. It was young men that decided this election. Two things stand out from my conversations with them: 1. They don’t want war. It’s not the fighting. They’ve watched an entire generation return from the Middle East struggling with PTSD, physical injuries, and shattered lives. I thought the relatively low casualty count would help Trump. I was wrong. The long Navy deployments and broken promises of a quick victory turned many against the war. Young men think they’re invincible. They’re less afraid of dying than of spending the rest of their lives dealing with the physical and psychological scars of another Middle East war. 2. They don’t fear communism. That doesn’t mean they support the DSA. They simply aren’t particularly concerned about it. The Great Leap Forward, Soviet gulags, and East German Stasi were been removed from textbooks after Marxists took over the education system. When I warn them about the dangers of the DSA and politicians like Mamdani, they tune out. Push harder, and they roll their eyes. That’s a serious problem for Republicans. And we’re losing them because of it.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Trump was elected to do politically difficult but necessary things. Securing the border is ugly. Fighting Iran is costly. Taking on special interests upsets donors. Backing AI scares people. Tonight, Republicans paid the costs. The benefits will be with us for many generations.

This is day 1 of asking @LeaderJohnThune to pass the SAVE Act. Whereas proof of citizenship is not required to register to vote; Whereas Texas found thousands of illegal aliens on its voter rolls; Whereas states like CA, OR, & WA, give Driver’s Licenses to illegal aliens; Whereas Minnesota allows for 1 registered voter to vouch for 8 other persons without an ID; Whereas the American people demand fair elections; Whereas restoring confidence in our elections would inspire more Americans to vote; Whereas federal elections begin in Wisconsin February 2026; Now, therefore, be it resolved that Senate Majority Leader Thune should swiftly bring forth a vote on the SAVE Act and utilize every means to pass the bill with a simple majority vote.

Good Morning, Please join me for a daily scripture break. Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three gather in My Name, there am I with them.” There is undeniably much corruption that permeates our government, our institutions, our local and state communities and our culture.  It’s understandable that people of prayer might be disillusioned. The election (a temporal event) is over and I believe our job (a spiritual journey) has just begun. Regardless of the election results, in today’s scripture it encourages us to dedicate some time as a community to prayer. I am humbly asking if you want to participate to add one petition in the comments section of this post for our nation. I will read through them and collate all of the requests that are appropriate (i.e., not ungodly or abusive) and post the list of petitions in a few days.  I would ask that you bookmark or print the list and pray the petitions you support as part of your prayer time. Please read today’s scripture again.  Jesus will be there with us as we pray these petitions for our country.  Don’t worry about the logistics, who is in what time zone, what time of day you pray. By being obedient to this verse, our Savior promises He is in our presence, He hears, He acknowledges our petitions and why, because we are gathering in His Name. Here are a few foundational scriptures for praying as a community. 1. I Corinthians 1:10 - “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." 2. I John 1:7 - “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin." 3. Romans 12:5 - “so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." 4. Psalms 95:6 - “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;” My petition is based on Matthew 9:37-38 -"Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” Dear Lord, please galvanize your Body. Send each member into the harvest field and fulfill their holy calling in Jesus Name, Amen. There is something we must pause a moment and consider: whenever Christians gather to pray no matter if prayers are answered as expected or not; God will work the circumstances out for our good. (Romans 8:28) Mature Christians understand the importance of your calling and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life. Ultimately, God's Will for His Kingdom takes precedence over other considerations and that's why prayers may not be answered the way we think they should. God skillfully manages the priorities of the Kingdom in His own way yet His timing is always perfect. So remain Kingdom-focused; as an individual Christian faithfully embrace what you encounter in the Word of God and the tenets of your faith. As a member of the Body of Christ using your God-given talents and under the Holy Spirit's instruction to fulfill your holy calling. I completely trust that there is nothing "... in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:39). There will be no hiding in the Upper Room; the Holy Spirit is already here with us. Some will answer this call and others will continue to hear the Word of God without doing what it says. Choose and prayerfully, seek the Holy Spirit's counsel; He will enlighten you. Jesus, I trust in you. Please continue to pray II Chronicles 7:14 over our nation daily. Thank you and God bless you. Peace and be prepared.

You did absolutely nothing and obstructed Trump‘s agenda at every turn.
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.
