Uncontrollable factors have delayed our crossing the dam, but we are ready. I am energized by the unexpected gift of your parsnip puree. In a few hours we shall be rattling the cages of the blue tigers and reclaiming what is rightfully ours!

I awoke to the sound of a distant rumble. Instead of thunder, ‘twas the sound of the hooves of a charging herd of buffalo men descending upon Stone County. Let it be known that MG Cagle has prepared his tea kettle for battle, and it is quite hot.

Isaiah 40:31: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”
When the hits are hard, the odds are against us, and the scoreboard isn’t in our favor, we stand together, and keep fighting until the final whistle. Tough obstacles don’t end our story—they set the stage for an even greater comeback. 🏈🙏💪🏼
The comeback is always greater than the setback 💪🏼

We head north to the emerald county in search of a golden opportunity. A group of riled up leprechauns will be waiting for us. In recent years, the magic of Swisshelm has hung like a cloud over our heads. Please send an umbrella and your lucky possum tail.

Wolf howls and huzzahs across Greene Co and over the mid lakes! MG Cagle has broken the curse! Our relentless heavy assault battered their longships and kept them ashore. Marching home, I turned one last time to see their vessels foundering into the green sea.

We are ready to embark on a great journey. A band of landlocked Vikings await us in Greene County. MG Cagle and BG Lauffer have made their final preparations and our arsenal will be eager to unleash its fury when we take the field of battle.

Dearest Mother-
We are set to do battle on the night before All Hallows’ Eve against an old foe, the Cat Men of Barry County. I hope a few tricks may sway us favor and extend the campaign. Please send Dr. Roberston’s Marmot Oil for cuts and scrapes.

Tomorrow we march north to battle a fierce tribe. MG Cagle has been seen behind his headquarters blending, to quote him, “a special tea for a special occasion.” No victories yet, but hope springs eternal. Please send candied possum tails.

No ground was ceded! I hope I made the general proud
