This was the incredible Broad River North of Chimney Rock, NC last October. I loved to Fly fish at this spot. I will miss this more than I can say.

While the GOP plays the post-blowout blame-game, I don’t think anyone properly appreciates the insane Dem infighting that’ll take place over the next two years. Socialism, Woke 2.0, antisemitism, tariffs, Islamism, leadership in Congress … buckle up.

I was thinking of downsizing to digital amp sims. I hadn’t played guitar in a while. I turned on the Marshall and plugged my EBMM in and pushed the clean channel just a little with some delay and reverb on the end. Holy cow. No way I’m giving that up.

My brother is back at work today after having had a stroke last week. He’s a prime example of the value of being fit and in shape as you age

Drove the I-40 corridor out of Tennessee into North Carolina today. Still shut down to one lane each way for 12 miles. Massive project underway. Hurricane Helene is still felt every day more than two years later.

My brother, a marathon runner, great shape, eats right, had a stroke this morning. Blood clot in his brain. Life is precious. Focus on what’s important.

Looking through the Quince app at 1/4 zips trying to figure out what one might look like on my fat ass. The models look like they eat one lemongrass smoothie a day

That war.gov commercial looks like it is straight out of Starship Troopers

Off to Columbia today for a restaurant visit. P&L’s just came out for period 12. Woof. Casual dining restaurants are getting smoked. It’s brutal. Maybe the segment should be renamed Casualty Dining.
