You don’t understand the fundamental difference between Jean Grey and other powerful characters. Jean Grey is not just a mortal. She is part of Marvel cosmology, the embodiment of the cycle of life and death. Everything she does is literally the natural order of the universe.

some artists can make this look good but i would prefer if they just changed it completely. this is a nicely drawn art work but the whole design that they are using in the comics is bad and needs to change
The new “Jean Grey” iteration coming in a few weeks by #kingcollectionart (on instagram) No need to moan about the Phoenix force needing to disappear soon and for a very very VERY long time!!

It sounds somewhat plausible, since no one would bother making up fake casting news about Moira.
Renate Reinsve reportedly met with Marvel Studios about playing Moira MacTaggert in the ‘X-MEN’ film.

The Avengers have brought in Wolverine and Spider-Man to chart a new direction. With Jean Grey returning to Earth, the X-Men deserve some changes too.#Xspoilers @TomBrevoort @jedmackay
I mean, can they do things that will grab more readers’ interest, and make the book’s visuals fit modern readers’ tastes better?#XSpoilers @TomBrevoort @jedmackay
