🚨 Positano, Italy 🇮🇹
What has happened in these days is horrifying
The Amalfi Coast, the Positano area, and other small villages, has been hit by numerous fires that appear to have been deliberately set
The mayors are furious
The territory is extremely fragile
Hectares of Mediterranean scrub have been destroyed
They now fear landslides and hydrogeological damage when the autumn rains arrive
This is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world
If these are criminal acts, there must be zero tolerance!
I stand with the locals and the tourists, and with everyone enduring these enormous hardships 💔
