The Mike McDaniel offense has never been elite or genius level, the so called 5000 yard genius title earned season (4600 yards) fell off at the end of that year also once the league figured it out. Started having Herbert numbers now end of the year and playoffs

If we are not in position to get Jeremiah smith of course he’s number 1 on our draft board. I would trade down and get two receivers first two picks in this class (Ryan Coleman and kj duff would be my picks).
After that it’s all offensive line round 2 and 3.
Just imagine if the draft picks, up top via trade happen 🔥
Everybody keep talking about Steichen to the chargers but yall do know Joe Lombardi is home on his couch chilling right now. Just the guy that gave Herbert control of the offense and put up 5000 yards and 31 points in the playoffs with but what do I know?
Imagine if the chargers trade Slater for a 1st or second (having 2 bookend tackles might be the most overrated thing in football) only need one elite tackle to protect the blindside get Quentin Nelson and draft Jeremiah smith AND! Ryan Williams or KJ Duff 🤯 (with a new coaching staff of course) 😊⚡️
This is what is missing from football which is why I liked Joe Lombardi as OC he gave Herbert freedom to audible and run the offense.
