📸 After strenuous work in Scotland, the ‘B1’ 4-6-0 found its way to the GCR. 61264 is running round its train at Loughborough and still wears its Scottish style front numberplate. An excellent way to round off the year. 30 December 2000. 🚆

Friends! Yesterday Mum took me to the Vet for a check-up. She is a bit concerned that I have lost weight despite eating a lot, and my coat has got a bit scruffy. She suspects thyroid issues and I might need some medicine. I’ve had some blood tests. I’ll let you know what the results are. Percy, my Deputy, knew I wasn’t keen to go, and offered to go in my place. That’s dedication for you! ❤️

Long and thin is how we cut Tommys food, as it makes it easier for him to eat solids. He can push it all the way to his cheek teeth as you can see in the video 🐿🩶🐿

'Andre Chapelon' awaits release from the P5 blocks. The loco appears to have been relatively recently repainted in executive livery. I'm going to put this around early 1986.

Rolf report 22 Oct: As they say, ‘build it and they will come’. In my case if you properly construct a cat nest - it doesn’t take much work: usually a well scrunched blanket plus some other soft surfaces - then Rolf will come. Simples. Rolf x

Teddy has abandoned his massive memory foam bed for a tiny plastic bowl on the window ledge.
Is he just a cat, or are we missing something?

Fall was your season, sweet Kevy.🍂🍁As soon as the heat came on, you would settle in to your fave spot by the fireplace and purr happily. Miss mew and Skippy so much. We wish we could hear those cozy little purrs again. 🌈

Every autumn something sweet happens. My four cats realise the weather is changing & go into ‘winter mode’. Our girl cat, Coco, has the biggest change. Spring/summer she loses her thick coat & spends most of her time outside. Soon as the fire goes on in Oct she’s a fluffy lap cat

Baxter is a male black cat, aged around 4-5 years old. He is looking for a new home as sadly he was left behind when his owner was evicted.
He has been looked after since by a cat charity and their friends, however as the colder months are now here, he would need a cosy warm home to call his own.
He is very friendly and stays close to his female carer. He will also eat anything, not fussy.
We have very limited information on Baxter due to the circumstances of his life.
He would make a great companion pet for someone who is on their own, no other pets or young kids - older children 9+ would be okay.
For more information or to offer Baxter a new home please email [email protected]
