When people say affluence makes former poor people to move away from God, I just smile. It's people whose faith might never have been deep in the first place.
Maybe those referred to in the context only had an asking-relationship with God, and believe he is no longer relevant when their prayer points become their reality? 🤔 For instance, the typical example of prayerful people who "fall bush" and stop being religious? If you pray only when you're in trouble, then you're in trouble.
There are many rich people who are glued to God with such a deep faith. I know some. In fact, once God blesses my efforts with scandalous wealth, let him just watch me, and see how I will glorify his name. 😂

It’s insecurity and immaturity to me.
I’m not in a relationship, but one thing I already know is that we’ll straight up talk finances from the start... I genuinely enjoy spending on people I care about, but I also like structure.
I want us to know what makes sense. I’ll wanna handle your mani-pedi every two weeks, your hair appointments, weekly groceries, fuel/taxi.
