#Whalefall has one of the best title drops of all time.
Great film.
Good news has been in such short supply that I almost forgot how to react to it. Pat McKinley directing a Steve Knight script? Couldn’t be happier.

Peter Parker is changing, and so is the 'Spider-Man' franchise. #SpiderManBrandNewDay is the most emotional, most mature and most atmospheric installment in the franchise. It'll meet your expectations in some places and defy them in others.
I'm absolutely shocked. I just spoke to him last month, and he seemed as vibrant as ever.
Rest in peace, Chuck Russell.

Christopher Nolan on re-releasing #ThePrestige and if he can imagine reuniting with Christian Bale for a fifth collaboration:
"Oh, of course. He’s one of the great actors of his generation, and I’ve had tremendous experiences with him. I’m thrilled that they’re going to re-release 'The Prestige' because it’s one of his most underrated performances. I’m just really excited to bring it to fresh audiences. We’re actually going to do 70 millimeter blow-ups. Wally Pfister shot it anamorphically on 35 millimeter, and he did an incredible job. I screened a 35 mil print the other day to check it, and his photography is just extraordinary. Nathan Crowley’s production design is amazing as well. So it’s going to look absolutely beautiful blown up to 70 millimeter, and we’re going to start that process in the next few weeks."

‘Sugar’ Season 2 showrunner Sam Catlin on importing the ‘Breaking Bad’ universe to Los Angeles:
“Everything I know or hope to know about running a television show is from those five seasons working on 'Breaking Bad.' So whenever someone from Vince [Gilligan]'s world is available, I just try to emulate him. I steal and pillage from their cast and crew as much as I can.” hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-…
I'm grateful to exist in the era of Christopher Nolan. #TheOdyssey is another masterstroke of cinema.
I was lucky enough to interview Sam Neill in 2022, and what I remember most is how upbeat he sounded. That tone briefly changed when I informed him that the famous 'Jurassic Park' Brachiosaurus died in the franchise's fifth movie. He didn't know and sounded crushed to find out.
He was off-camera at the time, which is pretty rare for a studio-hosted press block. It wasn't until months later that we all learned he was going through cancer treatment at that time.
