I asked a senior U.S. intelligence official, who said there has been *no* cut-off in intel sharing. Even Ukraine's Foreign Minister has said things are status quo. Kushner and Witkoff are threatening this, but the authority does not rest with them. Could this happen? Of course it could; it happened briefly already, earlier in Trump's second term. But cutting off threat intel would leak very quickly from the American side -- as well as from U.S. partners. We'd still inform our own people of incoming missiles and drones. Others would notice a frenzy of American personnel racing to shelters all of a sudden, without explanation, and they'd cotton on.

EU prepares to lift sanctions on Usmanov and Fridman
Ambassadors from 27 EU countries have agreed to remove Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman from the sanctions lists, Reuters reports. The decision will take effect if no country objects in the coming hours.
Their removal became part of a deal to extend sanctions against thousands of other Russian individuals and organizations for another three years.
France and Slovakia advocated lifting the sanctions on Usmanov. Luxembourg sought Fridman’s removal from the list. Both businessmen have been under EU sanctions since 2022.
