White people are lost
If you're entering college or know someone who is, PLEASE know that a degree doesn't magically grant you a job (and it hasn't for a long time) At a minimum, you should have some form of professional experience every summer, working your way up, like: Freshman year - 10 hours a week at an unpaid internship that will teach you office skills, 30 hours a week at whatever job pays (landscaping, lifeguarding, etc.). On your resume, only list the unpaid internship for that summer, let people assume it was more than 10 hours (but obvs be honest if they ask). During Freshman year, get some campus leadership roles, TA-type positions, and things like that as applicable. Put yourself out there, people should know you! Sophomore year - Try to get into a more serious internship, likely also unpaid (sorry) unless you're in STEM or business/finance. This one should be more of a name brand that people in your region would know. Supplement with other work as needed like you did last year. During your sophomore and junior years, also take on projects for professors and departments. This spreads out the people who can be references and gives you broader experience to reference in interviews. Junior year - start networking for this EARLY, like a year+ early, it is the main one that matters. Ideally this will be paid, but the most important part is that it's somewhere that could hire you/a strong enough brand that it could get you hired elsewhere. Senior year - the ideal situation is a return offer from your junior year placement. If not, rotational programs, analyst programs, and the like are your friend (and typically involve very early applications) None of this is set in stone, but the main thing you need to avoid is an empty resume by senior year That is how a lot of people are entering the job market and it is absolutely brutal

lol stop ittttttttttttt the league would LOVE Angel Reese to be good enough
Let’s be real the league didnt want Angel Reese to get a ring this year because if did she would be the unquestioned face of the league. Her coach played stupid and some of her own teammates caved on her. It’s obvious.

Urban Meyer was a great coach but he also got PANTSED by Clemson 31-0
Urban would randomly lose to Purdue or Iowa. But when the big games rolled around, he wasn’t getting his lunch money stolen, shoved into a locker, and sent home crying like Ryan Day. There’s a difference between getting upset and getting absolutely bullied. #Buckeyes Fire Day

The reality on Ryan Day and Ohio State at this point is that it feels like they aren't maximizing the immense resources the program has because of how conservatively they decide to play. They might have enough resources to just win anyway, but it feels like they coach scared.

Gay.
The prequels, at the end of the day, are about a young man trying to claim what is rightfully his. And he’s treated with suspicion, contempt, or even outright hatred because of it. He wants skill, power, influence, order, hierarchy etc. and isn’t afraid to tell people that. He kills the guilt that he used to feel for wanting what he should have. It’s remarkable how relatable all of this actually is for many young men. Made to feel guilt for who or what they are. Denied what is rightfully theirs by birth. Villainized by a weak, corrupted, aging Republic that has long outlived its usefulness. Fortunately, everyone seems to be on the same page on this. We’re going to reclaim what is ours.

Where's the cash?
Outstanding proactive work by the 68 Q-Team! 👏 What began as a traffic safety stop resulted in the arrest of two individuals, the recovery of a loaded firearm, and the seizure of thousands in illicit cash. Removing dangerous weapons and protecting our community!

Never let them tell you football is simply bread and circuses. It knits community.
Imagine being a 17yo kid. You're down 5 with 3.8 seconds left in the State Championship. Then this happens
