okay, I actually use throne often and saying that this is hidden... not entirely accurate. See, this is free to anyone that wants to be a creator or to help support their favorite creator. to be free, costs have to come from somewhere else. Would you rather every creator pay a premium and then have to deal with the tax work on top of it?
Not only that, ANYONE can access the website's terms and conditions, especially in a format that is easy to digest (they didnt have to do that, they did it for people that do not know how to comprehend legal jargon.) So, if you do not like the policy, why did you sign up? It is not the company's fault that negligence was performed when getting signed up and then they did exactly what is stated here. Below is screenshots from your own post of someone that is trying to explain it and you stating it isnt told beforehand..... When in fact it was. if you cant understand the legal jargon, they have a policies platform that would have told you everything if you did research before signing up. I am all for rights of the consumer, just not when negligence comes into play.
Research is not a luxury, it is a common means of understanding a situation before putting yourself into it.
You and your friend didnt read the ToS and the policies that were in place and freely available to everyone, and thats on you.

Hey @official_throne I was funding my friend's Switch 2 and it got refunded because of a price change.
We raised $520 dollars and he was only refunded $481!

I had a dream where it was before the AI apocalypse and everyone was still making games with love and I was making content happily with my small community.... it wasnt forced down our throats every day, and the businesses we relied on for incomes weren't becoming AI overlords.

The second anyone releases anything, be it art, music, books, or even games--the second it's out there, the worst of humanity feeds it to AI to rapidly make slop duplicates to undercut the original.
This can't continue. AI is theft. These models never should have been released.
This is a real concern and its terrible we have to fear this in our gaming. I have started playing less games recently because of the AI approach that a lot of them have started doing.
Just keep the AI out of the creative side of things. Thats all were asking.

A developer canceled a planned public demo over worries that AI could copy the game and release a clone first.
Drunken Goddess Reflux was set for a public demo on October 19. Alliance Arts will instead run a closed playtest with restrictions on sharing and streaming.
The studio says the issue goes beyond piracy. They fear players could study the demo’s gameplay and presentation, then use AI to clone it
“We are concerned that… works imitating or replicating this game’s presentation and gameplay could be quickly produced using AI or other tools and released ahead of the game’s launch.”
Its crazy what we take for granted when were healthy. Sometimes, even simple body movements are even taken for granted.
What brought this is im starting back my journey into fitness.
This is for my own health, however, there are complications with it.
In the army, I suffered severe brain damage and damage to my nerves as a lot of them were severed in my brain. This has also caused memory loss, and chronic migraines as well as a slew of other symptoms.
It has been 8 years now and I still suffer with it. I have learned to stop them for the most part before they get really noticeable, but with me being active again and fatiguing my muscles, the symptoms have worsen again.
Examples: I will be walking normally and then as I go to step with my left leg, I loose control in it and end up falling down or tripping to try and catch myself because theres not any feeling in it at that time.
Another is just having my phone in mt hand, taling to my roommate and my nerves misfire a signal and I throw my phone across the room due to a muscle spasm.
The final one thats actually the one I have the least amount of control over is my neck. Because the most damage happened around that point, if im talking and I have a misfire for my head area or if I get a cold breeze blown on me momentarily, i lose control of the muscles in my neck and it jerks it around in a fashion that has made people ask if I have torrettes.
These can be extremely painful for me and have put me down before, making it hard for me to adjust at times or hard to manage.
So just because on the outside, doesnt seem like theres no disability, doesnt mean people should judge others based on the cover of the story.
