🚨 BETRAYAL, LIES AND BROKEN MANIFESTO PROMISES FROM LABOUR!
Labour stood in front of the British public and promised NO return to the EU single market or freedom of movement.
Now we’re hearing they’re in talks with Brussels about doing exactly that!
Where’s the mandate for this? Where’s the referendum? 🤷🏻♀️
You cannot win an election promising one thing, then turn around and start negotiating the complete opposite!
It’s anti-democratic, it’s a betrayal of the voters, and it’s an absolute disgrace.
The British people voted for Brexit. Labour promised to respect that. They have NO mandate to quietly reverse it behind our backs!

France has fallen. Islamo-left mobs are openly praising Islamists who murder Jews. They put a hijab on a statue of Joan of Arc. French symbols have been smashed by thugs waving the Palestine flag. This is a putsch against democracy, says Brendan O’Neill

🇬🇧🩵 I’m proud to be part of Reform UK — and I won’t let abuse make me afraid to say it.
We don’t have to accept propaganda or allow people who distort the narrative for their own ends to speak for us.
Challenge our views. Ask difficult questions. Disagree respectfully. That is healthy debate. Personal abuse adds nothing.
Am I suggesting any political party is free of bad apples? Of course not. Where there is wrongdoing, it should be investigated and dealt with properly — including in our own party.
But I’ve met so many Reform members, councillors and mayors, and I’ve met all our MPs. My experience has been of wonderful people who care deeply about their communities and want to make a difference.
I also believe every party should face the same standards of scrutiny. Labour’s documented antisemitism failures, the Conservatives’ scandals and the serious concerns raised about the Greens’ recent conference motion which quite frankly was blatant racism and seems to have been brushed under the, all deserve examination and accountability.
Racism and antisemitism are unacceptable, whoever is responsible and whatever rosette they wear.
Holding individuals accountable matters. So does recognising the decent people working hard alongside them.
For me, this is about helping make our country a better, more prosperous and safer place for everybody to live and for our children to grow up in.
Stay strong, Reformers. Stay true to your values. Keep challenging wrongdoing and treating people with respect. 🩵🇬🇧

Greg, I’ve never seen or heard racism in Reform during my three years of membership.
But I did hear it when I was a member of the Conservative Party. Misogyny too.
Replying to @russellquirk
When you joined Farage and Reform did you think the levels of racism and misogyny would be as high as you are? It is that why you joined Russell?

Respectability matters - a lot. But there's something just as important: the courage to do what it takes to save our country. Our opponents attack us personally - but their real target isn't who we are, it's what we plan to do.
Tragic state of affairs. #dominiccummings #britishspecialforces

Great to welcome @Nigel_Farage to @Essex_CC today.
He spent time with @reformparty_uk #Essex councillors in County Hall and met numerous members of the public on a walkabout of #Chelmsford city centre. A fabulous reception for our party leader.
Plus, he was very keen to meet our Operation Vanguard bobbies and their bosses to learn more about our pioneering, already successful scheme to protect residents of our county.

“So many of Britain’s serious problems - mass migration, burgeoning national debt, a collapse of national identity - can be traced back to the decline of the family.
Britain has had below replacement birthrates since 1970.
It is the shortage of young people that has driven the demand for foreign labour and mass immigration.
It is the falling ratio of young to old that has forced us to spend beyond our means on welfare and pensions.
Without strong families, how do we pass on our culture and inheritance, the shared sense of history and identity that is what binds people into a strong nation?
Weak families are not a side issue, a peripheral concern for conservatives on a moral crusade.
Weak families are THE issue.
When the foundations decay, it is only a matter of time before the house falls down.”

Very well said. 👏
It is a good idea to remove cliff edges like this that create perverse incentives for aspirational people.
BUT
This does not change the fact that our current childcare policy is anti-choice, economically illiterate and bad for children.
A system that offers help to parents only if they hand over their nine-month-old to the State is not conservative. The reason most mothers return to work as soon as possible is not because they’re desperate to put their babies in institutional childcare; it’s because the cost of living is so high that most families now need two incomes to survive.
The majority of mothers of small children, when surveyed, say they would prefer to work less when their children are small. A conservative policy would pay a childcare allowance/tax break that parents could use as they see fit - to work fewer hours, use informal childcare or pay for formal childcare.
Conservatives should also recognise that the primary value of a mother is not found in her ability generate a short-term GDP boost for the Treasury bean counters.
Our current childcare policy is also a wonderful example of the idiocy of socialist economics. The state pays a fixed price for a good (in this case, hours of childcare) that is less than the cost of production and then wonders why there is a shortage of the good. 🤔
Childcare places also cost more than the average mother who returns to work pays in tax. If encouraging mothers back into the workplace is the aim, this is a ludicrously expensive way of doing it.
Yet conservatives seem deeply confused about the aim of ‘childcare’. Is it to get parents back to work or is it about early childhood education?
Whatever it is, the current arrangement is harming our children. Long hours in institutional childcare before age two are linked to emotional and behavioural problems later in life. This is not rocket science - babies need a strong and consistent attachment to their mother in order to be able to learn to regulate their emotions and be psychologically secure. State-funded childcare is therefore a false economy if it makes children less productive later in life.
By all means, remove cliff edges. But if the Conservatives are the party of the family, then they should overhaul childcare policy to put the family first. The current system views individuals purely as economic units - and that is socialism, not conservatism.

Do you think it is fair that parents, therapists and religious leaders could spend up to five years behind bars for having well-intentioned conversations with gender-confused children or sharing their faith’s teachings?
We at the Free Speech Union certainly do not. Parents, above all, should be able to have these important conversations with their children.
But the Government clearly disagrees. The draft bill to ban conversion therapy, introduced by the Starmer Government, could see parents who attempt to dissuade their gender-confused children from embarking on dangerous, life-changing and irreversible medical pathways locked up for five years.
Unlike previous iterations of conversion therapy ban bills, this bill does not include the same carve-outs for parents and religious leaders. That was a political choice.
This bill is a blatant assault on religious freedom and free speech. The Free Speech Union opposes it.

A big thank you to Sophie Preston-Hall for organising this cross-party event to help women engage in politics.
It was packed, with standing room only, having sold-out within days. An indication of the desire of women to be heard in local and national debates.
@LucyTCWife gave an inspiring and insightful talk about free speech and the need for reform in female prisons.
Venue was great and the food delicious. Looking forward to the next event already!

WHAT AN AFTERNOON! 🥂💗
Yesterday was our very first Ladies’ Prosecco & Politics, held right here in Hockley — part of my ward as the Essex County Councillor for Rochford North — and I genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better afternoon.
When I first decided to organise this event, I wanted to create something a little different. No stuffy political meeting, no feeling that you needed to know everything about politics before walking through the door — just women coming together over a glass of Prosecco, having conversations, asking questions, laughing and getting to know one another.
And that is exactly what happened. ❤️
We sold out in less than four days, but what made me happiest wasn’t simply having a full room — it was the atmosphere in that room.
So many different women, different backgrounds, different experiences and different opinions, all sitting together and talking.
A huge thank you to every single lady who came along. I loved meeting those of you I hadn’t met before, catching up with familiar faces and hearing so many of your stories.
And a very special thank you to @LucyTCWife for joining us as our guest speaker and speaking so openly about her experiences. Whatever people’s views, I believe there is enormous value in being able to sit together, listen, ask questions and have respectful conversations.
Thank you also to everyone at Ronnie’s Wine Bar in Hockley for looking after us so brilliantly — the Prosecco certainly seemed to go down rather well! 🥂😂
One thing I spoke about yesterday was something I genuinely believe:
We need more real people, with real lived experience, getting involved in politics and public life — and we absolutely need more women finding the confidence to use their voices.
If yesterday proved anything, it’s that women do want to be part of the conversation. Sometimes we just need to create the right environment for that conversation to happen.
And I have to admit, I’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the positive feedback I’ve received — not only from the ladies at the event, but through all the lovely messages and comments afterwards. ❤️
So I can definitely say this…
This will NOT be the last Ladies’ Prosecco & Politics! 🥂💗
But don’t worry, boys — we haven’t forgotten about you! 😂
I’m also going to organise events that are open to everybody, because I want to create more opportunities for people to come together, ask questions, have proper conversations and get involved.
Politics shouldn’t feel like something that happens somewhere else, behind closed doors, involving people you never meet.
It should be something real people can be part of.
So watch this space… there is definitely more to come! 👀🥂
Thank you again, ladies. You made the afternoon. 💗
