This week on Destination Dynasty, @Heckman_Matt115 @JacobMilhamKC and @M_Ski22 conduct a 2027 rookie draft for the prospects they think that will have the biggest impact in the majors in 2027 youtu.be/TnesDa2ScSw

We recently completed our annual PL Podcast Mock Draft, and the first (of likely many) recap comes from @thejohnke and @Pfitzgerald_99, who drafted out of the #6 spot and built their team around Aaron Judge youtu.be/EtR8y7A23TA

The beauty of baseball is that it can take you from your lowest lows to your highest highs within nine innings. Just ask Cooper Pratt. As Steve Drumwright (find him on Bluesky) writes, Pratt's redemption gave the Brewers a 2-0 World Series lead. pitcherlist.com/world-series…

Chandler Simpson batting third is such a statement. And I love how it just worked perfectly.

I am so glad that the check-swing call didn't have any affect on the result.

WHAT A THROW TO THIRD

I try to distinguish! I think there’s a lot of nuance and it’s awesome how we have more data than ever to prevent lazy labels.

Jacob Misiorowski Used Fireball! It’s Really Effective!

Not gonna lie, I hate when I hear that a pitcher “hung” a pitch just because it was a hit. Martinez threw a legit changeup that Frelick did a good job of staying on to not whiff and it squeaked through the hole for a hit. It’s baseball, not a mistake pitch.

He didn’t throw another cutter after. And struck out the next two batters.

All three Milwaukee Brewers hits have come off Nick Martinez’s cutter.

There’s something ironic about John Smoltz praising Jacob Misiorowski for his elite extension and low release height, then hating on “Analytics” moments later.
