This guy is a nutjob. A society that elects a person like that will see significant negative consequences
"I would love it if the governments around the world got together and taxed @ElonMusk's wealth." Manitoba's NDP Premier Wab Kinew, announcing new rent controls in Winnipeg today.

Correct. Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be. Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them. Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week. Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact. Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia. SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR. That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell. End of story.

"our sovererignty". We are Canada because the USA allows it. Period
Mark Carney on what Elon Musk's throttling of Starlink means for Canada: "We do not want to be caught in a situation where we are reliant on one provider that puts Canadians at risk or compromises our sovereignty, our ability to express our values and live our values."

Culture eats strategy for breakfast
Elon Musk: There is no lords and peasants at Tesla. Everyone eats at the same table. Everyone parks in the same parking lot. You know, at GM there's a special elevator only for senior executives. We have no such thing at Tesla

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

People eat at MacDonalds, Popeyes and Dennys, shop at Costco, Walmart and Home Depot but they will not buy a GREEN PEPPER from Sobeys because it was grown in USA. Canada is made up of complete morons. Idiots to the core. What the hell is wrong with this stupid bunch. @CBC @CTV

I’m a Canadian who loves Starlink. In fact, on our rural property, there were no Canadian providers who could provide us with internet due to the location/tree coverage. So we applied for Starlink on the trial when it first launched. Best thing we ever did for the farm. All of the neighbours now have it as well, and it literally connected everyone with no service for decades to full bars and the ability to call on wifi/check the news and weather online for literally the first time. I think it’s disgraceful that the Canadian government is trying to score political points and villainize such an effective product made by a Canadian citizen. Thanks @elonmusk for how much your product improved our quality of life.

Half a Billion dollars in fraudulent taxpayer funded dental claims. Government response: Nothing to see here. Welcome to the country of Minnesota
Minister @MarjoriePLC waives repayment of $434.8 million by people who falsely claimed free dentistry under Canada Dental Care Plan. @GovCanHealth reports it covered dentistry for ineligible claimants who already had private coverage. blacklocks.ca/bogus-claims-c… @CdnDentalAssoc #cdnpoli

I was at the game and noticed the same thing. Empty rows in the bowl. Lots of them.
My buddy was at the Oilers game last night. He said the lower bowl was only 3/4 full. In that city, new building with no idea how long you have left to watch McDavid? Crazy to see. People must be feeling the pinch in their pocket books these days.

Each question is a vote. Each voter made up to 10 votes
Elections Alberta noted in advance that the province had 3,148,343 eligible voters. The problem is that the numbers below add up to 4,352,679 votes cast. So not only were there 1,204,336 more votes cast than eligible voters, which is bad enough, but I guess we're also supposed to believe that 100% of the 3M+ eligible voters cast a ballot. Can someone explain how blatant electoral fraud isn't involved?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 4,352,676 figure represents total valid votes across all 10 referendum questions combined rather than the number of voters or ballots cast. Elections Alberta reported 3,148,343 eligible voters. results.elections.ab.ca elections.ab.ca/resources/medi…

"Don't be fooled by the idea you can send a message with your vote." Read that again. A prime minister, in a democracy, telling you your vote isn't a message. Your vote is the ONLY message you get. That's the whole deal. That's democracy. What he means is: your vote counts when it's the one he wants. Vote his way and it's "vote like Canada depends on it." Vote your conscience and it's "a dangerous bluff." He doesn't want your voice. He wants your obedience.

"rupturing what they built" is exactly what the Liberal Government has been doing for over a decade, turning Canada into a 3rd world socialist parasite. BTW, the constitution of Canada provides every Canadian the ability to vote for their province to leave Canada.
powerful words from Jason Kenney here: "I ask people as they're considering voting, put their minds forward to November 11th [and] the sacrifices of Albertans who lie below gravestones with the maple leaf on them. We do not have the right to rupture what they built and what they sacrificed for."
