We are still on the lookout for a keeper for the new season due to ours having work commitments and being lobbed from 60 yards last Saturday. Drop us a message if you have some working hands @EastRidingFA @PlayerShort_

PLEASE HELP Do you have a goalkeeper that’s in need of some minutes pre season? Or have you stopped playing and fancy a game? We require a goalkeeper for this Saturday to help out as ours is unavailable All of our outfield players struggle to catch a ball. Please RT

Our ideas will obviously only work when we start to pick up more followers - but that’s exactly where you as the teams and players come in! Any retweets are appreciated.

The algorithm that we see is; The more followers we have > the more reach we can get when you’re struggling to field a team > the more chance of someone seeing it that is local and willing = increased participation for everyone!

We here at PlayerShort have spent our sporting careers in teams that end up travelling away with 10 players, urging the group to ‘text their mates’ to scrape a squad. We’ve also had weekends where we fancied a fixture at any standard but had no idea where to start!

That’s where we’re aiming to come in and change the game. We hope to become the leading platform ensuring that fixtures aren’t needed to be cancelled, and that people wanting to participate can do so! Help join the sporting revolution. #PlayerShort
