I was almost killed in a violent crime in apt bldg where I lived in LA 2016. As last resort, I was put in paralytic coma, ECMO, ventilator, feeding tube for 1 week. Woke up with jaw wired shut. Had to learn to walk again. Used that trauma & advocacy as fuel to craft @PleaFilm!

CONFESSION 9-minute short film about bullying and school violence. Cast @jacksonwhite (TELL ME LIES, MRS. FLETCHER) @mauracorsini0 @juliancomeau (Loveless) Cindy Pickett (FERRIS BUELLER, @StephenKing’s SLEEPWALKERS) Vernon Wells (ROAD WARRIOR, COMMANDO) Poster by @timbradstreet

My first feature film @PleaFilm played at film festivals in LA & NYC the month I turned 50 and received awards at both!

I’m in the same boat. I made @PleaFilm. It played festivals, received awards, secured distribution and I’m proud of it. I have a pile of screenplays, but can’t get anything going.

I hope you can join us tomorrow to watch @PleaFilm and support @theactorsstudio! Please share and spread the word.

My ULB feature @PleaFilm was rejected by a festival that admitted never watching it. Another that said they watched part of it but were only playing local films. They both kept our submission $ But it received 10 awards & 11 noms at film festivals & Gale Anne Hurd loved it!
