Just a reminder as we approach Election Day: a small handful of Republicans in Congress could stop this chaos tomorrow. They simply choose not to.

Really funny. A late @SenatorCollins ad aimed at her opponents, @TroyJackson207, jibed that being a senator "wasn't like picking out a cord of wood"--a shot at Jackson, a former logger. So Jackson had a little fun with it today while Trick or Treating with his family.
So far, no truth to the rumor that Sen. Collins dressed up as a Continuing Resolution.

Democrats hoped there would be a big enough Latino revolt against Trump. Hillary Clinton did pretty well with Hispanics but not well enough.
Trump 1.0 saw family separation and harsh tactics on the border. Nada. Hispanics flocked to him in 2024.
Now the bill is due.
Democrats have waited over a decade for the Hispanic Backlash Wave against Trump. After all this time, is it finally here?

North Carolina End of Early In-Person Voting
🔴 2024: R+41,457
🔵 2026: D+343,548
Republicans did not win a single day of early voting. Even when high-propensity voters were red, those gains were overwhelmed by exceptionally blue turnout among less frequent voters.

Instead of building more AI data centers, which 66% of Americans oppose, I have a better idea.
Let’s build 7 million affordable homes & apartments.
Let’s build more hospitals, schools & childcare centers.
Let’s create an economy that works for all, not just the top 1 percent.

UnitedHealth already sells your insurance, employs your doctor, and manages your prescriptions.
Now Trump's DOJ let them buy home health and hospice giant Amedisys for $3.3 BILLION – giving them MORE power to raise costs and deny care.
We need to break up Big Medicine.

🚨A former Jan. 6 insurrectionist who was filmed attacking police and had his case thrown out via Trump order, Nathan Adam Thornsberry, is now charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to 15 years.
The 44-year-old of North Branch, Michigan, was allegedly giving a woman a massage at a Rochester Hills spa on Aug. 12 when Thornsberry allegedly touched her intimate areas and sexually assaulted her with his finger. She told him to stop. He allegedly kept going.
“This defendant allegedly abused his position of trust to violate the victim,” said Prosecutor Karen McDonald.
Thornsberry is a Marine veteran who self-published a Jan. 6 memoir under the pen name “Nathaniel Matthews.” The FBI says that book led to his August 2024 arrest on felony charges of civil disorder and assaulting, resisting or impeding officers.
Thornsberry was never convicted: after Trump’s Jan. 20, 2025 clemency order, those charges were instructed to be dismissed by the DOJ.
Trump called Jan. 6 Insurrectionists “hostages.” They have seen been wreaking havoc on American citizens after being set free. At least 97 insurrectionists have faced other charges since the Jan. 6 insurrection itself, according to a Lawfare study by Katherine Pompilio.

FOLLOW-UP | THE BOLSONARO FLIGHT
Jason Miller reportedly helped arrange Flávio Bolsonaro's private flight to Miami AFTER a Brazilian court ordered Bolsonaro to surrender his passports.
Miller was reportedly serving as a White House special government employee.
That raises three serious questions:
IF HE ACTED PRIVATELY: Did he knowingly help Bolsonaro evade a court order?
IF HE ACTED ON GOVERNMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Who authorized it, and how does that square with Rubio's denial?
IF HE ACTED INDEPENDENTLY USING HIS OFFICIAL POSITION: Did he misuse government authority?
None of those scenarios establishes a crime without further evidence.
But the public deserves answers.
WHO PAID FOR THE FLIGHT? WHO KNEW ABOUT IT? AND WHAT DID TRUMP KNOW?
RUBIO SAYS THE U.S. DIDN'T ARRANGE BOLSONARO'S FLIGHT. BUT WHO DID?
Flávio Bolsonaro fled Brazil amid criminal investigations and a court order to surrender his passports.
Trump authorized his entry into the United States. Rubio acknowledges that.
But Rubio denies U.S. officials directly arranged his departure.
Separate reporting alleges Trump aide Jason Miller arranged the private jet that brought Bolsonaro to Miami.
That allegation remains unverified as official U.S. government involvement.
WHO ARRANGED THE FLIGHT, WHO PAID FOR IT, AND WHAT DID WASHINGTON KNOW?

IT WAS THE HUG SEEN ‘ROUND THE WORLD 🌎 After delivering the eulogy at his son Beau’s 2015 funeral, President Obama embraced Joe Biden warmly at the front of the church, and kissed him on the cheek.
Beau Biden “did not have a mean bone in his body” and was the consummate public servant and family man, Obama had said.
With tears in his eyes and an occasional slight tremor in his voice, the president explained that Beau Biden had “shoulders broad enough not only to bear your own burdens but the burdens of others.”
Obama attended the funeral with his wife, Michelle, their daughters, Malia and Sasha, and his mother-in-law, Mary Robinson — “honorary Bidens,” as the president called them. He said the Biden family “rule” was that, before help was even sought, family members would be there for each other.
“I can only imagine the burdens you have been forced to bear,” he told the Biden family. “As you were there for him, we will be there for you. We have become part of the Biden clan. We are honorary members now and the Biden family rules apply. We are always here for you – my word as a Biden.”
“We are here to grieve with you but more importantly we are here because we love you,” Obama ended.
I miss that kind of character from a commander-in-chief.

Nothing screams pedophile like Trump's birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein
The pedophile president demanded $10 billion. He's leaving with nothing but humiliation.
U.S. District Judge Darrin P. Gayles permanently shut down Donald Trump’s lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal on Saturday.
Because the case was dismissed with prejudice, Trump is completely blocked from refiling. The judge made it clear that since this was Trump's second failed attempt to make his case stick, a permanent dismissal was the only appropriate move.
