What's being called one of the most severe vulnerabilities in software history was made public yesterday… Basically, hackers could steal sensitive information or even take control of entire servers without a password if they're running PHP… And PHP powers 70%+ of websites! Attached is a screenshot of what my cofounder, Jesse Hunter, shared with our community. PodMatch doesn't use PHP at all, so our platform and member data are safe from this vulnerability, thankfully. Be careful out there… Wild times online. :-/

One of my favorite things I get to do is help PodMatch Podcast Network members update their cover art (we offer this for free)! Here are 4 that we just finished that I really love!! :) Although I'm not a designer, it's so fun helping podcasters figure out the best direction!

Podcast hosts: Do your past guests share their episode once it’s out?

I’m excited to announce that the 400th episode of Podcasting Made Simple will be released tomorrow!!! Today I’ll be taking some time to celebrate and reflect on the last 7 years of my podcast! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to encourage me over the years, especially those of you who have told me stories about how my podcast has helped you. (That’s why I do it!) Looking forward to many more years of podcasting! Thanks again for the love and support, everyone!

I’m seeing more people than ever wanting to be podcast guests. Sadly, most of them struggle to get booked by hosts. But it has nothing to do with a lack of experience or expertise. In fact, most people reaching out are absolutely qualified. But podcast hosts ignore them because of THE WAY THEY ASK to be a guest. The problem is the pitch message/email! After being a guest on over 700 podcasts, with a 74% acceptance rate, and having 388 guests on my own podcast, I’ve learned some things about how to reach out to be a guest on podcasts properly, and I want to share everything I’ve learned to help others. So, I’m hosting a live virtual training to help people get booked as podcast guests! Here’s where you can RSVP: my.demio.com/ref/olmV7e8lAPe…. It’s completely free. There’s no upsell. No product is attached. I’m doing this because I really want to help. I’ve seen how podcasting makes the world a better place, and I want to help people get their story out there!

I’m starting to book guests for the next season of my podcast! If you have a practical idea that can help podcast hosts or guests get better at what they do, would you be interested in being on my show?

Last night I had the chance to speak at a podcasters meetup in Tampa! I met 3 PodMatch community members in person for the first time! Great to hang out with you, Tiffanie, Joey, and Freddie!! :)
