You all found out what plenty of other blokes already know—when the .44 Calibre gets hold of you, the fight changes. You can have all the game plans in the world, but the second I get my grip on you, they’re worth far, far less than the paper they’re written on.
Fancy holds, fancy footwork, fancy reputation… none of it means a bloody thing when a bigger, meaner bastard gets his hands on you.
You can call it an upset if it helps you or your estranged little Death Riders family sleep at night.
I call it another Sunday.
Everybody’s carrying on like #AEWForbiddenDoor was full of surprises. Was it? ’Cause from where I was standing, it went exactly how I said it would.

Big strong boi trying to stay as big and strong as humanly possible to keep up with the competition. No shortcuts, just proper graft and dedication.
What’s a boi to do other than keep himself ready for whatever comes next?
Regardless of what’s next for me… not that he asked me for it, not that he even bloody needed it to begin with, but championship gold wasn’t the only thing @DestinoDeDragon walked away with after our bout.
He also walked away with my respect.
