Need to survey inside a hazardous area but the paperwork keeps stalling the job? We have ATEX-certified scanning available through August.
A single scan mid-run inside one of the old RAF hangars at Jurby. The FARO scanner on our tripod captures the roof trusses, cladding and floor slab in about a minute and a half per setup, building a survey-grade point cloud of the whole structure.
Got an ATEX zone that needs measuring? You can't take standard survey kit into an explosive atmosphere, and that leaves a lot of teams stuck.
We can.
We run an intrinsically safe laser scanner rated for hazardous areas.
🚨 AUGUST ATEX AVAILABILITY 🚨
August is almost here, and PointSCAN has upcoming availability for specialist ATEX 3D laser surveys within Zones 1 & 2.

We scanned this brick house in a single visit, . The FARO Focus records millions of measured points, and the black-and-white targets you can spot on the walls tie every scan position together into one accurate point cloud.
🚨 AVAILABILITY ALERT 🚨
Our August ATEX survey programme is now open.
If you have upcoming works requiring intrinsically safe 3D laser scanning within Zones 1 & 2, speak to our team about securing your survey dates.

Accuracy on site starts long before anyone opens a drawing package.
If you have a project where the existing information doesn't add up, get in touch and we'll talk through the right approach.

Our FARO Focus S captures millions of points per scan, and days like this one remind us why we do the work outdoors as much as in. Curtain walling, reflective glazing and busy city sites all bring their own quirks, and getting survey data from them is the part we enjoy most.
Do you actually have accurate drawings of your water treatment site? For a lot of operators the honest answer is no, or the plans on file date back decades and no longer match what's on the ground.
🚨 ATEX AVAILABILITY ALERT 🚨
PointSCAN currently has ATEX 3D laser survey availability from early August for projects requiring specialist survey capability within Zones 1 & 2.

Not a bad view from the office.
3D laser surveying can take us to some incredible locations, the conditions aren’t always quite as comfortable as the view might suggest.
Whatever the location, the objective remains the same.

The questions we get asked
“How long will the survey take?”
It’s usually one of the first questions we’re asked.
The answer depends more than the size of the site. Complexity, access, level of detail, and operating restrictions all influence how a survey is planned.
