Seeing lots of people asking what's wrong about ICE telling noncitizens they can't vote. If that pretty picture was what is actually happening, just honest advice to voters, it would be one thing. But of course, we all know that's not what's happening & a federal judge has now told DHS to stop.
When ICE goes out & “warns” noncitizens they can’t vote, it’s not a benign experience. In context of all that’s happening, it’s frightening & it’s meant to intimidate lawful voters who don’t want to get mixed up with the powers that be.
