I had a wonderful time at @ASNAmNat Asilomar 2023. I gave my first talk at an international conference, explored the tidepools right outside the conference grounds and even helped the winning team at trivia night. A beautiful venue and I am excited to attend again in 2025!

Today is my 32nd birthday.
Over the last month, I asked several 90-year-olds what advice they would give to their 32-year-old selves.
Here's the life advice everyone needs to hear:

Life has just blown me away today. I started the day by becoming a master of biology and ended the day celebrating in Tokyo with some amazing people. I still have yet to process everything that has happened, but I am proud of myself and so incredibly hopeful for the future.

Just wanted to boost this again. I wish I could cover all of this for them. I watched last year as they were unable to get around to their appointments (they live in WY where the winters are long). Hoping this year they can fix their car and keep it running.
My cousin is a single mom of two and could really use help this winter. Her younger son has autism and needs transportation to his program. They're not asking for much ❤️gofund.me/83b82258
