The book features 50 Scotland international players, with graves that can be visited and tributes paid to these pioneers.
It can be ordered online at the attached link, with all profits being used for further projects.

Happy St Andrew's Day to everyone.
Today @PollokFan and I are delighted to announce the publication of our new book.
This is the anniversary of the 1st international match in 1872, and the 1st player featured in the book is Joe Taylor, Scotland full back in that game.

Not going to get carried away with that draw, but I look forward to recreating this photo in July 2026.

In truth, twenty or more Scottish parks could have been chosen for the book such is the wealth of it's characterful football homes. In the end, seven made it including @pollokfc, @BrechinCityFC and @Morton_FC, all special places whose people helped no end in the research for the book. Alan has been discharged from hospital today to continue his recovery at home.
Alan, Janet, Adam, Lucy and family would like to thank everybody for their wonderful messages of love and support. It has been overwhelming and has helped enormously ❤️
Headed through to Fife earlier in the week to pay my respects to Scotland's first ever goalscorer against Germany. Bill Imrie headed home a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw in Berlin in 1929.

Remembering former #CFC player Bob Griffiths who died #OTD in 1980.
He was cremated at Breakspear Crematorium and his ashes scattered in the Garden of Remembrance.
There is no known memorial.

VAR doing exactly what it was brought in for - eliminating the clear and obvious 'big team might be in a bit of bother here'.
