4 years ago, Terrill Davis had never played a game of organized football.
He always wanted to be a basketball player, but football found him. Now, he’s coming to OSU with NFL aspirations.

RT @SuaveCEO_: In Shai’s last two games, he’s attempted a career-high 61 shot attempts.
Atypical of him, but he’s maturing as a player, u…
In his career, SGA has deferred more than the stats would suggest.
In the wake of injuries, he needs to change that and follow the advice of a popular phrase going around X.

The Thunder grind out another win over Cleveland, 124-116, to sweep the Cavs this season, improving to 6-2 this season.
MY TAKEAWAYS:
◾️ After two straight losses, OKC needed MVP Shai to keep it afloat. That’s exactly who’s shown up these last two games.
◾️ Bennett Stirtz’s confidence keeps growing. By April, he’s going to be hell for teams to guard from deep.
◾️ Ajay Mitchell is settling into the Robin role alongside Shai. He’s averaging 21.8 points over his last five games.

James Harden is wearing his Harden 10s tonight, but rocking the Jalen Williams Thunderbolts PE colorway tonight.
Very cool.
Pretty much a fake two year deal for Terry.
I never mind a swing on a wing-sized player, but OKC has an easy out if this doesn’t work out.
The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Dalen Terry to a two-year deal, which is non-guaranteed for this season and includes a team option for the 2027-28 season, league sources told @hoopshype. ESPN was first to report an agreement between both sides.
Shai with one of the filthiest handles I’ve seen in a while on Mario Henzonja just now.
Sheesh

The Thunder beat the Cavaliers 117-112, snapping a two-game skid and improving to 5-2.
My takeaways:
◾️ This is the version of Shai OKC needs every night while it’s shorthanded. He set the tone with his aggression. Hard to ask for more from him tonight.
◾️ Ajay Mitchell showed that same aggression in spurts and gave OKC a solid second option. I’d like to see him play with that level of assertiveness more consistently.
◾️ Micah Peavy and Bennett Stirtz played their roles about as well as you could ask. I’m curious to see what both do with more minutes while OKC gets healthy.
What stood out to you most in the win? (outside of SGA)

Sam Presti on Patrick Beverly injuring Russ in 2013 during speech on Russell Westbrook’s jersey retirement:
“At this point, I think it’s safe to say, that, as much as I like Patrick Beverly, he will not be winning the Oklahoma Standard Award in the future.” 😭😭😭
Big time win for OKC with everything going on.
Gutty win behind SGA, who just went full Kobe mode down the stretch in the fourth quarter in looking for his shot, scoring 43 on 35 shots.
117-112 win and a rematch with Cleveland on deck for Wednesday.
We’ve never seen SGA like this before.
If he’s getting it, he’s shooting it. 43 on 35 attempts for the MVP after that 3-pointer but OKC up 3 with 32 seconds left.

Jared McCain and Thomas Sorber both in OKC for at least one more season.
Excited for these two but bummed for Nikola Topíc, who had his option declined.

Nikola Topic will NOT have his option exercised and he will become a free agent.
This is pretty telling as to Topic's status on the team between now and the trade deadline.
Here is the official release from OKC on Jalen Williams’ successful surgery.
He will be re-evaluated prior to the end of this season, for those wondering.
