I’ve said this before and I stand by it: a million kids trying to write pop punk thought they were ripping off Blink or Green Day, but almost invariably ended up doing New Found Glory riffs. If you’re playing pop punk in 2026, you’re probably doing a lot of Chad Gilbert.
