every office has that one birthday celebration where everyone gathers around, sings a song, eats something from the break room and gets back to work. louise turns 85, and her colleagues discover that her birthday wish is to watch people kiss. not one person. not one couple. apparently, the entire office must become a live demonstration of romance. kate mckinnon plays louise with the confidence of someone who has waited decades to make this everybody else's problem. the staff try politeness, then boundaries, then basic common sense. louise responds like a woman who has survived an entire lifetime and refuses to let workplace etiquette ruin her big day.

Bunny just casually tells the group she’s catfishing men as a Japanese bikini model named Kiko, then pivots to “some of us have to hunt with bait” like it’s normal career advice. The sketch’s real engine is the way she treats every dating complaint (bad last name, random foot massage offer, eggplant emoji) as proof the other women are overthinking it. She orders a whiskey-milk neat, claims she’s 27 while insisting it’s still the ’90s, and ends the bit by walking out with the guy who actually showed up for Kiko, after telling him he’s “about to get some beef, brother.” I’ve rewatched this a few times and the part that sticks is how quickly the room shifts. Two of the friends basically decide her approach is correct and leave to lower their standards. Cecily stays and just stares. It’s less “crazy lady at the bar” and more a clean demonstration that a certain kind of zero-shame confidence is weirdly persuasive in the moment, even when the advice is unhinged.
