Takeaways:
- ND is not a top 5 team right now. Period. There has not been a complete team performance yet this year. This week the defense didn’t show up. Against MSU the offense didn’t show up. Not a finished product yet - get there. Prove it.
- Walton is the guy. James is 2. Anneyas is 3 until Young or Osborne show that they can take it.
- They didnt take UNC seriously. That can’t happen again.
- TEs are still not contributing to the level they should. The rain was definitely a factor, but can’t drop that TD and can’t have a hold on that Walton TD.
- OL looked much better running gap scheme. Until that unit is healthy, that is the way.
- Moore should sit and get healthy a week or two.

When it’s all said and done he’ll be considered the best whose ever played the position except to an anonymous source talking to Feldman who is a moron

Narrative wise Notre Dame’s schedule would be looked at differently if it were at #16 Michigan instead of at #14 BYU, home #7 Miami and home #20 Tennessee instead of home #19 SMU.

Ohio State and Oregon are 1-2 in the preseason poll while the SEC leads conferences with nine ranked teams.
I love these articles because I still remember the time Bruce let a some random scout claim Kyle was weak in covering slot receivers and there was zero introspection about that even years later
“I think he’s the best tackler I’ve seen in years…”

Considering Oregon's only losses all year were to the #1 team, I think this is an unfair and inconsistent ranking for them

Every snap there are lineman moving, pointing, resetting their feet, tackles guessing the snap clearly moving early, but the fullback getting his hand down a split second too late for the tight end motion is an automatic must call penalty.

Not for nothing but that’s the same coverage on Cooks while the ball was in the air with a no call.
