I’m here to save you loads of ranting over the next few months.
Nobody is banning Trick or Treating, Halloween, poppies, remembrance, fireworks, Christmas, or even saying ‘Merry Christmas.’
Anyone claiming any of these is just inciting hatred with wibbling thunderbollocks.

The new gas field isn’t going to bring down your bills.
Gas is bought & sold globally, so the reality is, fossil fuels controlled by dictators have Britain in a chokehold til we fully embrace gas-free driving & heating and cut the link between electricity and gas.
BUT, fwiw, getting gas locally is still the right move while we’re transitioning off it. It’s a bit cleaner and brings jobs and tax revenue to Britain.

While our course is littered with stunning holes, the 9th is arguably the most photographed by visitors.
With its elevated tee shot and backdrop of dunes and pines, it's easy to see why.

Some of us have been telling you this for many years now. The final Brexit deal (any FTA) was irrelevant to this. EU buyers were always going to turn inwards to fellow EU (& maybe NI) suppliers to replace GB produce on EU shelves & GB buyers were never going to have that same luxury. It is for this reason the UK has never fully reciprocated the Brexit deal (TCA border controls) against the EU27 as it'd be too much (Mogg's words) "self harm" ..
UK consumers have grown too accustomed to expect wide & varied EU (especially fresh) produce on UK shelves, at lower (using FoM) prices. The final Brexit outcome was always going to be asymmetrical advantage to the EU (their exporters) over their GB counterparts. ..and smugglers.
A Brexit deal short of SM (FoM)/CU membership was always going to asymmetrically damage & disadvantage UK exporters over their EU counterparts. Funnily enough the UK needs & wants the EU (their produce & products) more than the EU needs the UK. It is for similar reasons why all notion of enforcing UKCA ("delayed" many times since 1/1/21) has been wholly dropped.

Imagine being rejected by the Conservative Party for your behaviour and then discovering there's an entire political party where it's practically a transferable skill.
