What is Porous Pave?
Recycled tires, stone chips, and a urethane binder, poured in place into a flexible, permeable surface that handles freeze-thaw cycles.
This mile-long trail in Twinsburg, Ohio shows what it looks like at full scale.

Steep bluff. Heavy foot traffic. Rain runoff headed straight for the beach.
That is exactly the kind of spot where Porous Pave earns its keep.
This pathway at Singing Sands RV Park gives guests a safe, stable route down to the sand while letting water drain through the surface instead of carving into the slope.

Tired of replacing wood mulch every single year? There is a better option.
This is loose rubber mulch from Porous Pave. It is a larger chunk material designed to look like real mulch, and it comes in about eight colors including black, redwood, brown, cypress, tan, and even blue. This customer went with black to match their house.
No bonding, no binder. You place it and it stays.
Want to plant something new? Move the rubber mulch back, cut the landscape fabric underneath, and plant.
Easy to work with and built to hold up for years.

Wrapped up a pour at Petoskey High School in Northern Michigan. 🏈
The problem: water sheeting off the concrete walkway and surrounding slopes with nowhere to go. The school kept concrete down the middle so buggies and maintenance vehicles can still get to the football field. We poured Porous Pave along the edges to catch the runoff.
The concrete and landscape both slope into the Porous Pave, so it works like a French drain built right into the walkway. Water goes down instead of pooling up.
5,800 gallons per hour, per square foot. 27% void space. Made in Grant, Michigan from recycled tires.

Fall on a Porous Pave path hits differently.
Leaves land on it. Rain falls through it. Roots grow under it. And the surface just keeps going — no cracking, no heaving, no washout.
This is what a path that belongs in its landscape looks like.

Some installations mean more than others.
This is a Porous Pave installation at the 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection in Yardley, Pennsylvania — a path built to carry visitors through a space of remembrance quietly and without interruption.
Permeable, stable, and designed to hold up for decades so the people who come here to reflect never have to think about the ground beneath their feet.
Never forget.

175,000 pounds of rubber. 88 pallets. Twinsburg, Ohio.
Hand loading 50 pound bags for that volume would have destroyed the crew before the pour even started.
Instead we are running an auto-metering hopper that hits a timer, measures 83 seconds, and drops exactly 200 pounds of rubber into the mixer every single cycle.
Equipment doing the heavy work so the crew can focus on the pour. This is how you scale a job without burning out your team.

That is the last bag of Porous Pave blue we have for the year.
One bag. Sitting in the warehouse. Watching everyone else leave.
If you have a small project that needs just one bag of blue, call us.
Day two in Twinsburg, Ohio. Just over 6,000 square feet of Porous Pave connecting Liberty Park to the dog park and this community already knows what they are getting.
There is a trail just down the road that has been down for 12 years and they liked it so much they came back for another one. That is the real product review.
Flexible rubber that feels good on your joints, does not crack through freeze-thaw cycles, and keeps performing long after asphalt and concrete have given up.
Come check it out if you are in the area.

It is all in the edge.
Hand troweling a clean transition between Porous Pave and the grass line takes patience and care.
This is the work that separates a surface that looks right from one that just looks close.
Every edge on every install.
