Why I like $Monkey Lore: Most Chinese people haven’t experienced bitcoin or memecoins at all. But they’ve seen/heard about the crazy fluctuations of cryptocurrencies, so they came up with a legend about $Monkey #猴子币, which became a viral trend of videos and memes on Douyin/RedNote. These videos and memes became a whole series where each episode represents a different stage of the volatility of these markets, and they used super exaggerated numbers for everything to make it funnier (which is also the reason for the exaggerated supply on the real coin). In short, Monkey coin became the symbol of degen finance. Vision: I believe $Monkey is positioned in a way where it can become one of the main, or the main, Chinese memes and onboard Chinese retail like we’ve never seen before, exactly like the community has already been doing. Many, many people have already been onboarded through Douyin and the $Monkey faucet community initiative, which lets newcomers claim free $Monkey tokens donated by top holders, or through comments on RedNote. All of this is leading to thousands of holders getting onboarded every single day and joining the QQ group chats, the community, and web3 for the first time. Now imagine all of this on a much bigger scale once we break some of those ceilings and get real mindshare. The flywheel can go crazier than anyone expects. Real adoption, real onboarding, real meme, real retail meme craze. Setup: 1. 0% fees (no liquidity is getting drained out of the token) 2. Not on any launchpad/platform, so it isn’t capped or dependent on anyone’s support (same as all the other big memes) 3. Simple universal ticker. Maxxed supply. $Monkey has 6.904 nonillion circulating supply (over 99.999+++% is burnt, which is why all the numbers are exaggerated, staying true to the real meme and the lore of the legend). It also lets people own so many more tokens, which, as we know, makes them feel like they own more, makes them more bullish, more bag biased, and more likely to hodl much longer. Would you be bagworking the token you have 150,000 tokens of, or the token you have 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of? Another fun fact is that if $Monkey gets listed on CEXs, it’ll be the highest supply coin ever and they’ll probably need to make custom UI just for it lol. 5. $Monkey is paired to gold exactly like in the legend/memes (gold is also an onchain RWA, which makes it a perfect meme for this upcoming meta). It can also keep the token’s price more stable than when it’s paired to crypto, and the China x gold narrative is something else that’s really big as well. I believe the market is horny for the one coin that actually onboards and sparks this new retail craze again (we cannot just keep pvping between the same 10,000 active traders, a bigger vision than that is needed), and I think $Monkey has one of the cleanest setups for that.
