Perhaps it’s time everyone stop watching the show of a guy rubbing elbows with a fascist credibly accused of raping children.
The “Real Time” host seemed more interested in praising Trump’s ballroom than pressing the president's former mouthpiece on difficult questions.

Trump wines and dines him, pretends to care about what he has to say, and Maher walks away convinced he’s somehow gotten through to him.
After nearly SIX YEARS of Trump in office, people like Maher are still delusional enough to believe he’s capable of changing. He isn’t. His actions have proven that time and time again.
Maher is just another out-of-touch Hollywood elite who mistakes access to power for actual influence.

There is a massive corruption scandal unfolding in the US, with top American executives abandoning a $25 billion gas project over allegations of secret Russian investment and control.
All of this is happening just as the US administration moves to ease sanctions on Russia.
