Why is it that with all the flowers thrown in Kansas City's direction it's never mentioned that four of their first five opponents currently have losing records (LV, 3-4; IND, 2-5; MIA 1-5; LAC 0-6)?

Props to Mike Tomlin for his explanation on Dan Campbell's eye-opening decision to go for it on fourth down deep in Detroit territory with under 5 minutes, and it actually makes sense. Punting there might have meant his offense never got back onto the field.

It was like 103 ... which is still good (if you buy totally into passer rating), but not quite 130, now, is it?

Fourth-and-1, two-minute warning ... I say go win the game right now and go for the first down.

Dolphins aren't going to make this easy, are they? Oy. Go up 11, give up 8 in just 1:20.

And in case you didn't notice, it was Minkah Fitzpatrick who fell trying to tackle Douglas right after the catch. Makes it even better.

Since I know some folks obsess over passer rating, I'll point out that Malik Willis is at 130.7 after that long touchdown pass to Caleb Douglas. Oh, that was some kind of after-the-catch work there by the rookie. Again, welcome back.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have 35 yards of offense in the second half. Not ideal.

If you're going to commit a roughness penalty, do it when the other team just got a first-and-goal at the 1.
