BREAKING: Iran says it will launch a preemptive strike on US and Israeli targets, and not wait for Trump to attack.
"Should signs of a hostile act by the enemy be confirmed, the Iranian Armed Forces will not wait for the aggression to begin, but will immediately determine the timing and manner of retaliation," Armed Forces Chief of Staff Abdollahi says.
It follows Mojtaba Khamenei's order today for an "immediate and geographically unrestricted response" to any US and Israeli threat.

BREAKING: Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei orders senior military commanders to respond to any threat with an "immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted response."
The Supreme Leader also orders the military to put all US and Israeli assets within firing range.
"The military target database has been updated comprehensively to ensure that all kinds of physical and non-physical assets of the US-Zionist enemy are brought within the reach of the Armed Forces."
Iran has previously defined those non-physical assets, including detailed plans to cut the 7 undersea cables in the Gulf, US-linked data centres and AI facilities across the Gulf as targets.
The orders come as Trump plans to strike Iran as soon as November 4.
