NYC is handing out up to $100,000 in taxpayer money to first-time homebuyers through HomeFirst, a 0% “forgivable” loan and they won’t even ask about immigration status. So people who don’t speak English and have never paid into the system can walk away with tens of thousands to buy a home, while native New Yorkers get priced out and flee the city they actually paid for. It’s a straight transfer from the people who built and sustain this place to whoever shows up and fills out the form.

If there is something tonight that you really want in this world, then experience in imagination what you would experience in the flesh were you to realize your goal and deafen your ears, and blind your eyes to all that denies the reality of your assumption.

Detox from Spike Proteins: Here's How in Under Two Minutes 1.) Ivermectin - Binds tightly to spike protein. It can prevent the virus from entering the cells, and it can prevent the virus from replicating. 2.) Suramin - Like ivermectin, it prevents spike protein from binding to ACE2 receptors. 3.) NAC - Powerful antioxidant. Reduces the damage that happens after toxicity and has been shown to be able to restore damaged cells back to their normal state. 4.) Catechin and Kurkumin - They have potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

New Yorkers deserve to get home safely. That’s why I rode the subway and laid out my plan: more police, more conductors, and better lighting. As governor, I’ll make safer, cleaner subways a priority.

At 19, Jackie Gleason left his mother’s wake with almost nothing. He found subway fare in his pocket and walked out of the Brooklyn apartment where Mae Gleason had raised him alone. His older brother had died when he was three. His father left when he was nine and never returned. After Mae died, there was no parent waiting and no diploma. He moved in with other performers and looked for nightclub work. Some nights dinner was hot water and free cafeteria condiments. Born Herbert John Gleason on February 26, 1916, he quit high school at 16, hung around poolrooms, and took a job as a theater master of ceremonies for four dollars a night. After his mother died, comedy had to pay the rent. His first club job nearly ended when he bombed and was fired. He returned for the second set, won the crowd, and stayed. Jack Warner signed him in 1941, but Hollywood did not make him a star. He returned east, worked clubs and Broadway, and tried television. The Life of Riley lasted one season. On Cavalcade of Stars he began building characters from the people he knew. Ralph Kramden changed everything. CBS made him a star. Then came the 39 filmed episodes of The Honeymooners. When the series ended, he stopped rather than weaken it. He also made music. Music for Lovers Only spent 153 weeks in Billboard’s Top 10. He won a Tony Award for Take Me Along and earned an Oscar nomination as Minnesota Fats in The Hustler. The teenager from the pool halls now held the screen with a cue and a stare. He had two daughters with Genevieve Halford. Later marriages followed, the last to Marilyn Taylor. At 61 he found another big audience as Sheriff Buford T. Justice in Smokey and the Bandit. His final film was Nothing in Common with Tom Hanks. Jackie Gleason died of cancer on June 24, 1987, at 71, with Marilyn beside him. His daughters had visited days earlier. The boy who once left with almost nothing did not leave alone. He spent a lifetime turning loneliness into laughter. ❤️

The hype for Street Fighter II on the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom in 1992 was unlike anything the gaming industry had seen before. The "impossible" port: before July 1992, playing a major arcade hit at home usually meant a compromised, stripped-down home port. When Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was announced for the SNES, the idea that an arcade game of that scope could run at home felt like witchcraft. Magazines like EGM built massive anticipation with cover features and deep dives into the 16-megabit cartridge, the largest and most powerful SNES cartridge of its time. Costing US$79.99 at launch (roughly US$175 adjusted for inflation), but millions of players didn't hesitate to pay for it. In fact, it sold over 6.3 million copies on the SNES, becoming Capcom's best-selling single software title for decades and a massive system-seller that convinced many people on my surroundings to buy a Super Nintendo. Sega had no answer to that until September 1993, which was too late for many.
