India's air pollution has me on the move. I left Delhi in 2018 and shifted to Bengaluru (I was told it was the Garden City of India). One major reason was NCR's air pollution. I couldn't tolerate another PM2.5 999+ winter. Earlier in 2026, I moved to Mizoram. Bengaluru's air keeps getting worse, and my wife's family lives in Aizawl, so Northeast India felt like a good fit. We're raising two kids, and I believe it takes a village to raise a child. I'm glad I relocated. I didn't want to take a risk and end up with asthmatic children. But I'm also sad that Indians who choose to live in metropolitan cities have to live this way. They shouldn't have to flee to the hills to breathe clean air. Very happy that companies like @praan_inc exist to solve air pollution in smaller spaces, in people's homes and across factories and offices. Apart from the apartments of private, individual customers, you'll find Praan's air purifiers in Blue Tokai, Wipro, Pidilite, Oura, Ultrahuman, and Tata Steel. Maybe someday Praan will solve air at the city level too. I have come to realise that Indian infra only approaches/exceeds global standards when it is privatised. Perhaps this extends to public resources like water and air too. I only wish this level of air quality was a guarantee for every Indian citizen today.
