This a terrific thread. We’re adding it to our syllabus on Customer Interviews, @joulee!
Our CTO and Co-Founder @ajscheff shares insights on engineering career frameworks developed over months of research, interviews, and product revisions: medium.com/practica/7-surpri…
If you're working on a career framework or thinking about it, read this article!
If you're building with GPT, this one's for you! We just published our syllabus on Generative AI featuring learnings, tactics, and strategies from @omarsar0, @lesswrong, @OpenAI, @TDataScience, @umang, @iarora_, and @labriataphd
Two sections that have been particularly helpful for us are 'Prompt Engineering' and 'Using Generative AI in Product Development'. You can read the entire syllabus here: practicahq.com/skill/generat…
It’s hard to find great examples of how GTM leaders find their Ideal Customer Profile.
Thankfully, we found @james406’ excellent “How we found our Ideal Customer Profile”
It joins content from @DakotaJMcKenzie, @davidcummings, & @gitlab on our syllabus:

The most common thing I see that holds product leaders (and rising PMs) back is ego. They:
- dismiss CEO and exec insight
- take too much pride in process
- spend too much time on optics
- explain away bad results
- don’t ask for help
🎉We're excited to share we have a new name!🎉

💼 Professional coaching
There are many platforms where you can get professional coaching and mentorship.
I did some coaching myself on @Best_Practicer, which is very good.
Other options include @CTOCraft and private mentors, as listed by @GergelyOrosz

This reminds us a lot of what the relationships between our coaches and learners are like.
Coaching shouldn't be reserved just for worlds like sports & acting. It has a place in the tech world too, for engineers, PMs, marketers, etc of all levels, from junior ICs to the c-suite!
